ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series Specs, Photos and Logos
The title says it all. ATI Radeon HD 3870, the one on the second picture will feature 825MHz core and 2400MHz memory clocks, DirectX 10.1 support, and PCI-e 2.0 technology. ATI Radeon HD 2850 on the third picture will be clocked at 700MHz/1800MHz core/memory with DirectX 10.1 support and PCI-e 2.0. Both cards will feature 55nm manufactured graphics processing unit (GPU).

this new numbering strat wont change anything except maybe make it easier ie the biggest number=the best the smallest=the worst pretty simple vs having the know XL-XT-GT-GTO-XTX-banana-cow? all the different types just confused people anyway :roll: its a good move in AMDs favor they will sell more top end cards to dumb people bc they will think bigger is better vs WTF is the diff between GT and XTX except $100?
