BIOSTAR releases TPower N750 Motherboard
BIOSTAR TPower N750 offers cutting-edge Hybrid SLI technology, based on industry-leading SLI technology, delivers multi-GPU benefits when a TPower N750 motherboard GPU is combined with an NVIDIA discrete GPU. BIOSTAR TPower N750 Hybrid SLI increases graphics performance with GeForce Boost and provides intelligent power management with HybridPower .GeForce Boost
GeForce Boost turbocharges the performance of NVIDIA discrete GPUs when combined with TPower N750 motherboard GPUs. Plug any NVIDIA Hybrid SLI-enabled GPU into BIOSTAR TPower Hybrid SLI-enabled motherboard to enjoy additive performance and more value for your money.
HybridPower
TPower N750 also gets HybridPower to unleash graphics performance when needed and switches to quiet, low-power quiet operation for everyday computing. Plug any NVIDIA Hybrid SLI-enabled GPU into BIOSTAR TPower N750 Hybrid SLI-enabled motherboard for the ultimate control. Dial up performance for demanding 3D games and applications; go green and reduce noise and power consumption for everyday computing tasks like browsing the Web, word processing, or watching HD videos.
The best things about TPower N750 are the solid hardware desin and advanced software package, which improves the overall performance of the system. .Those technologies include the new BIO-TEX features set and unique thermal solution to provide the best value for users.

also... very interesting idea for the gpu cooling, i like it!
seriously.. biostar tforce is the only board to get for overclocking in the mid to low range for cash..
So your supposed to rip out stock cooling from new NVIDIA cards that have mounting wholes for that cooler thingy and the motherboard reduces the clock when in 2D? Something ATI has had stock before.
Stick in 8800GT and I highly doubt the cooling power in gaming, same fan has to cool SB and NB too. Maybe I'm missing something crucial here (I blame the news release).
l
-> sli'ing 2 different cards or sliing a video card with an igp. benefits are that it can shut down the powerful card and use the igp/weaker card for 2d graphics, etc. also it does provide a boost in fps.
there is the board, its a SLI board for those who thought it came with a video card, it has onboard video but not a video card.
lots of good information there
to highlight key points
-nvidia 750a chipset
-comes with an integrated 8 series gpu (the exact model wasn't stated.. its probably an 8400 or 8600 if we're lucky)
-they provide the heatpipe as pictured above for adding a video card. though the integrated 8 series gpu is on the board itself
-2 pci x16 slots (electrical x8 during sli)
-hdmi (supports onboard 8.2ch sound) for the video card but does have a dvi adapter
-has the usual good stuff of the tforce series apparently.
This could come the next big thing. First go with IGP + current price/performance king. Then ½-1year later disable IGP, buy another price/performance king and HybridSLI those.
Firstly, all Gfx card should have a decent fan. Like the Asus 3870x2 that noone bothers to watercool or LN2 it because its already ideal, unlike the stock Asus 8800GTX fan. You get where im going with this.
Secondly, if i dont need to cool the gfx card because i didnt go out and purchase a dud, i would appreciate using the already little available space above the gfx card for my cpu cooler.
Perplexes me this does...
It is odd though, as there's no mention of what card that is (and what card could replace it if the cooling can be refitted onto something different).... and there's no good reason for why the PCBs don't match if they're going to ship together.
A very confusing press release we've got here.
You cant Bybreed SLI the built in chip with an ATI card, but you could run just the ati card just fine if you turn the onboard one off in the BIOS.
But looks like 2x8500GT cards would give you better prefromace than 1 8600GT.( we all know it kinda sucks)
Might even get kinda close to 1x9600GT for half the cost.
This could be very nice and very quite for ppl who need low noise with low energy cost.
@Panchoman, You got your 5K posts back. :D
