Computex 2008: FOXCONN Shows Quad-PC Gaming Machine Prototype

The Denube Gaming Machine Concept is basically four computers in one case, powered by a single power supply.

It is targeted at people that often have friends coming in for small-scale LAN parties. Also it would allow cost, size and power efficient installations for bigger Internet Cafes.

At this time it is still a prototype while FOXCONN evaluates the demand for for this kind of product. For example the Ethernet switch you see on the bottom will be integrated into the case as well.
FOXCONN specifically asked you guys for feedback what you think about this, so feel free to discuss it here.

I think its a good idea on one hand but then again it kinda feels like a console system on the other. But that could just be me.

i used to own an internet cafe, so yes - this device has a need.

What they should do is offer the case empty. let people add their own ATX hardware (option of 4 PSU's as well) to allow the customisation people require - this would work for internet cafes, LAN cafes, and people who just want a cluster of systems/servers in a SOHO environment.
