zitheThey just need to make a version that acts as an HD TV tuner if they haven't already. :P
i dont see that happening anymore. once they became available as USB devices, the interest in making video cards more expensive by adding them on diminished.

Musselsits a good balance. decent performance in all modern games, good crossfire performance, yet low power enough to suit a HTPC. its the 'all in one' card for this generation.
This would be an Excellent All In Wonder Board, since They wont Release the Top Chip to AIW like they did with the 9700 Pro, Whats funny is i had a Media Center PC before MS ever Thought about a Media Center OS.

Mine really is. I mean, I'm so close to 10K in 3DMark06 and all of my games play with respectable frame rates with freaking awesome IQ at 1680 x 1050 - just goes to show that I really don't need to upgrade yet, and they say AGP is dead. Pfft! ;)

Once annual gift fest is over, the recession has calmed down and I finally start my new position I'll look into prolonging the life of my rig as much as I can. I still haven't tried 64bit XP or Vista yet so I have those options and watercooling.

^^

Still, a 4830 would definitely help my GF if my friend ever lets go of his 4850. ^^

i know this is a old card but it holds up well in many games; COD4 on a AMD XP Machine with R1950 Pro Anyone? I will be formatting tho to clear any crap out, and probably eventually overclock this machine further once i get done with the Mods i want.
