ARCTIC COOLING Launches Alpine 64 Pro Cooler for AMD Processors
Offering computer market the ultimate stock AMD CPU coolers replacement, the innovative Swiss cooling solutions provider ARCTIC COOLING today unveiled Alpine 64 Pro, a new product of the comapny's acclaimed Alpine 64 series. The Alpine 64 Pro features aluminum heatsink and a 92 mm PWM controlled fan that spins from 500 to 2000 rpm and produces maximum airflow of 36.7 CFM. The cooler weight 428 g and fits all AMD AM3, AM2+, AM2, and 939 sockets. The Alpine 64 Pro comes with a 6-year limited warranty. It will be available in May 2009. The MSRP is US$10.9 and 7.60€ (excl. VAT).

I hope this one is better
the places i can see it being usefull are stock rigs that want better than stock cooling
htpc and backup rigs
everything else i cant see it being any use
Me? I'd spend another $10 and get the Arctic 64 Pro. That thing's amazing. Huge, but amazing.
