The AMD Turion X2 RM-75 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in December 2008. It is part of the Turion X2 lineup, using the Griffin architecture with Socket S1. Turion X2 RM-75 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 2.2 GHz. AMD is making the Turion X2 RM-75 on a 65 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Turion X2 RM-75, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 35 W, the Turion X2 RM-75 consumes only little energy. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Turion X2 RM-75, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
