Series X is 320 bus, while the ps5 is 256 bus, so even with 500$ consoles, not only you get more ram, but also a bigger bit bus than a 600$ rtx 4070I'm not 100% sure how the XBSX memory bus is arranged. There are 10 GDDR6 packages, and the fast partition is 320-bit so presumably that's 10 32-bit memory controllers.
If 6 of those packages are double-stacked, it means that the 6GB slow partition gets its own memory controllers, meaning the XBSX has a 512-bit bus in total, split 320/192 for fast/slow partitions respectively.
On the other hand if 6 of those packages are just double-density, then it means the XBSX is a 320-bit device and the slow partition competes with bandwidth for the fast partition. This seems less likely to me but I honestly don't know how it's done.
