I can't install any executable that's inside the folders, it's strange because it hasn't happened to me before with any driver.... Windows simply refuses to run it.

Have you tried clean tails, for example using Driver Fussion?

To clean drivers I use Display Driver Uninstaller... I can correctly install the driver XFTI_PCDRV_L11_2_40_0019.

I don't use antivirus o antimalware... Testing with the executables, when I go to the Audio\Setup folder and run setup.exe, Windows detects that the program may not have been installed correctly... could it be some kind of incompatibility with the installshield version?

Thank you! The first thing I did was put Windows in safe mode and uninstalled the creative driver through DDU. Then I disabled Disable driver signature enforcement and installed your new v2.20 driver; The first time Windows started (with the driver installed) I had no audio but when I restarted it worked as it should. Now I am testing the quality and stability, since my computer is on 365 days a year and with other drivers I have noticed sound anomalies such as cracks or noises when not restarting Windows for days.
BTW, back in the day, when I read reviews about the first Auzentech cards with an X-Fi license, what stood out was the stability of the driver, so let's see how it behaves, saludos!

EDIT: With this driver the maximum frequency is 24/192 and the microphone effects are not present, so it is not possible to remove ambient noise and enable VoiceFX effects.

Thank you very much for your time and effort!. The Creative drivers (for X-Fi) were never 100% stable and with each new version they broke things (Codemasters Rulz!). Regarding not being able to save changes in the traditional way, I don't see a big issue.

NOTE: I recommend that you put all these drivers in your first post, so the latest version is always downloaded, greetings!

I tried these but having an issue with the pc not picking up the subwoofer from my 5.1 z5500. I tested the other channels and they all work apart from subwoofer.

i was using analog and 6 channel effect on z5500. prefer analog for music and games and use optical only for movies

i uninstalled the drivers and just used normal windows 5.1 configurator and tested it again and the subwoofer works. but with the driver installed im getting sound from the satellites properly but no subwoofer.

Have X-fi Titanium Fatality Champion which i was unable to install drivers and was forcing me to disable "Core Isolation". Was planning to get SB AE-9 as alternative to work with Win11. So do i need to disable "Core Isolation" in Windows 11 Security app for this driver to install and work?

hey, i was using realtek console before switching to creative. in realtek i was able to increase the sound of the center speaker to get more sound from the center. any idea how to increase the center channel in creative launcher. i can only decrease the levels, not Increase/

You need to install Creative THX console for X-fi. Once installed, it is accessible via Creative Console launcher when you click on the speaker icon near the 2.1/4.1/5.1/Headphones dropdown. There you can set the position of the speakers and increase volume individually for each speaker.

Updated the package with a modified driver. The main APOs were replaced with more advanced ones, support for 64-bit APOs, edits were made that significantly reduced non-linear distortions and improved the overall sound. We also cut out all the unnecessary rubbish. Updated some driver files to new ones. The OpenAL library for 64-bit architecture is installed automatically.
Attention!!! Major changes have been made to the driver and therefore before installation you must disable digital signature verification and auto-update of drivers from the Windows Update Center. Because the driver has lost its digital signature. Yes, it's inconvenient, but this is probably the best sound I've heard on my sound card.

I tested your 2.17.0008 driver from another thread and get a BSOD with Mafia 1 trought Alchemy on my 0880 (Openal problem, i think) and 44.1 BSOD in CM (not critical for me)/ 2.17.0008C with sleep trcik is not good for me, cause change 2.1 <> 7.1 and switch mode regularly. Daniel x-fi 5 pack has no openal problem. Thank you for your work!

So, what’s the problem? I set up all the modes once, save them, and then switch as many times as needed. But version 2.40.0008 still has problems with OpenAL. Or use Daniel's driver if you need to have a regular save and working OpenAL. On my card on the Daniel driver, the remote front panel, microphone effects and WUH do not work, which is critical for me.

Mafia is not a game with OpenAL support ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j7hqIk0LzMnagk4GHHHk13Bb2L-zt9KRqRRVsnGpLCE/edit?tab=t.0 ) it uses DS3D so the BSOD should not be caused by this reason, I assume you are using ALchemy to restore audio... If I'm not wrong, the SB880 is an X-Fi Titanium (without xram = 16MB). Antes533 has re-uploaded the driver v2.40.0008C with some improvements (the link is a few posts above 92) I suggest that you try again, but first make sure to correctly uninstall the previous driver and software, if necessary format your PC to rule out any other problem.
