The Jetson Nano was a mid-range mobile graphics chip by NVIDIA, launched in March 2019. Built on the 20 nm process, and based on the GM20B graphics processor, in its TM660M-A2 variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Jetson Nano. The GM20B graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 118 mm² and 2,000 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Switch GPU 20nm, which uses the same GPU but has all 256 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading units on the Jetson Nano to reach the product's target shader count. It features 128 shading units, 16 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. NVIDIA has paired 4 GB LPDDR4 memory with the Jetson Nano, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 640 MHz, which can be boosted up to 921 MHz, memory is running at 1600 MHz. Its power draw is rated at 10 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Jetson Nano is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x4 interface. The card measures 70 mm in length, 45 mm in width, and features a igp cooling solution. Its price at launch was 99 US Dollars.
