The Radeon Pro SSG is an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on July 26th, 2016. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Fiji graphics processor, in its Fiji XT C0/CC variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The Fiji graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 596 mm² and 8,900 million transistors. It features 4096 shading units, 256 texture mapping units, and 64 ROPs. AMD has paired 4 GB HBM memory with the Radeon Pro SSG, which are connected using a 4096-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1000 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1050 MHz, memory is running at 500 MHz (1000 Mbps effective). Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon Pro SSG draws power from 1x 6-pin + 1x 8-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 260 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI 1.4a, 3x mini-DisplayPort 1.2. Radeon Pro SSG is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface. The card measures 267 mm in length, 111 mm in width, and features a dual-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 9999 US Dollars.
