During our visit with Silverstone, we had the opportunity to check out their new case lineup which consists of numerous new designs including an all-new Raven prototype. Keeping the unique internal layout established by the previous generations alive, the new Raven has the motherboard I/O pointed towards the top with two 180 mm air penetrator fans located at the bottom operating as intakes with a single 120 mm fan at the top as an exhaust. The design makes use of the simple concept that heat rises to great effect. Drive space is limited to a single 3.5" or 2x 2.5" drives, meaning as of now builders eyeing this new design will want to stock up on M.2 drives. While we don't have official specifications in regards to radiator support, we can say there is plenty of room to set up a water cooling loop multiple mounting points provided near the back and sides of the chassis.

Moving on the side panels are both tempered glass which gives the case a uniform look, however, thanks to that, you can forget about hiding your wire mess behind a solid back panel. Instead, the Raven Prototype will be better suited for those who meticulously route their cables keeping things exceptionally neat and tidy. As for the front panel I/O, it is located on the top left above the side panel and consists of 2x USB 3.0 ports and the usual microphone and headphone jacks. In general, the angular design of the previous Raven cases remains but has been toned down just a bit, giving this latest iteration a sleeker, stealthier appearance.

MetallicGear, powered by Phanteks, today introduced the NEO Series, a new level of cases that brings contemporary elegance, sleek minimalistic design and innovative features. The NEO Series is aimed to provide cost-effective cases that do not compromise on quality. The NEO Series will be available in four models, NEO, NEO Micro, NEO Mini and the NEO-G Mini.

The NEO and NEO Micro will feature an aluminum exterior with dual tempered glass side panels. The NEO will support an ATX motherboard and can house a single 240 mm or 280 mm radiator in front. While the NEO Micro, a compact tower that can support a micro ATX form factor and 240 mm radiator up front as well.

Thermaltake, a leading premium gaming tower manufacturer, announced the immediate availability of the Thermaltake Versa J Series, including J22, J23, J24, and J25 TG RGB Edition, and V200 TG RGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis. The Versa J Series are designed to satisfy PC builders with different preferences regarding case style. For better ventilation, the J22 TG RGB comes with 3 built-in 120mm 12V RGB fans, two at the front and one at the rear.

The J23, J24, J25, and V200 TG RGB come with 3 built-in 120mm 12V RGB front fans. And all the 3 built-in 120mm 12V RGB fans are dual-mode controllable either via the I/O port RGB button or the synchronization with enthusiasts' favorite RGB capable motherboard brands, including Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock, and Biostar. Furthermore, the All-in-One (AIO) Liquid Cooler products are a perfect match for the J Series and V200 TG RGB Edition. Finally, the TG Editions are also designed to meet every PC builders' needs.

At Computex 2018, SilverStone showed off additions to its premier case lines - Precision and Sugoi. The Precision series is expanded by the new PS07-E (working title) and PS15 micro-ATX cases. The PS15 features a refreshingly simple layout - the motherboard and PSU bays are accessible from the left side, while the drive cage from the right. This way your drive cable clutter, and unused PSU cables are tucked away on the left side, taking advantage of the crawlspace behind the motherboard tray. You get familiar design elements from SilverStone, including a meshed front panel, a large top vent with removable filters, and a tempered glass right side panel. There are five fan bays in all, of which three are 140 mm capable, all 120 mm capable. The case measures 190 mm x 365 mm x 351 mm (WxHxD).

Next up, is the PS07-E micro-ATX tower. This case features a solid brushed metal front unlike the PS15, and a characteristic "hump" up top, which slides down along rails to reveal a 5.25-inch drive bay, three USB 3.0 ports, and HDA jacks. The Sugoi TJ08-Pro is practically identical to this case, but has a meshed front fascia. Inside, both cases feature an upside-down (BTX-style) micro-ATX motherboard tray, bottom-mounted PSU bay, three 3.5-inch drive bays, and two additional 2.5-inch mounts; and a staggering four 140 mm fan mounts, in addition to the 120 mm rear exhaust.

The Level 20 was the centerpiece of Thermaltake's 2018 CES booth. The company is now expanding the Level 20 series, with two new siblings, the Level 20 XT and the Level 20 VT. Both cases are somewhat cubical, with their motherboard trays oriented along the plane of the base, rather than perpendicular to it. The Level 20 XT supports ATX motherboards, while the Level 20 VT is is designed for micro-ATX. Both cases feature tempered glass panels on all sides except the rear and bottom.

Inside, both cases feature a "T-shaped" partition, with the top compartment housing the motherboard tray, and the bottom two housing the drive cages and the PSU bays. Both include at least one 140 mm front intake fan with RGB LED lighting. The Level 20 XT has two such 140 mm intakes. It also gives you up to 9 drive bays. The Level 20 VT, on the other hand, has just the one 140 mm front intake intake, and six drive bays. Both cases feature modern front-panel connectivity.

SilverStone this Computex unveiled its new Lucid Clear View series vertical cases. Available in micro-ATX (LD01 and LD02), and mini-ITX (LD03) sizes; the cases are characterized by gobs and gobs of tempered glass, with internal layouts optimized to let you show off most of your RGB LED-illuminated hardware. The LD01 and LD02 have a tower-like appearance, while the LD03 has a more cubical appearance. The LD01 is more glassy, and has glass panels on all but the rear and bottom sides. A chrome accent runs the top. This case measures 215 mm x 405 mm x 410 mm (WxHxD), and features three 3.5/2.5-inch drive-bays, in addition to two 2.5-inch mounts. Besides a 120 mm rear exhaust, you get four 140 mm mounts (two on the front, two along the top).

The LD02 is the slightly cheaper micro-ATX option, characterized by an aluminium bar running along its height, and tempered glass panels only along its front and right-side. It has the same number and configurations of fan-mounts and drive bays as the LD01, but is slightly bigger - 217 mm x 405 mm x 433 mm. Both the LD01 and LD02 orient the micro-ATX motherboards "upside-down," BTX-style. Lastly, there's the LD03. This case is more metal, less glass, and only has it along its side panels, in polygonal shapes. You get one each 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive bays; two 120 mm and one 80 mm fan-mounts; and the ability to mount a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator. The motherboard is oriented such that its rear I/O alights with the top of the case, and the graphics card stands tall through a riser. The case measures 277 mm x 415 mm x 230 mm.

SilverStone today announced availability of its RedLine RL07 series ATX mid-tower cases. The cases were first unveiled at the 2017 Computex expo. They are characterized by the asymmetric front-panel design in which one half slopes downward, and the other one upward, with the gaps between them being studded with LEDs. The case comes in two principal variants - white with blue LED lighting, and black with red LED lighting. A tempered glass panel forms the left side panel. Under the hood, it features a contemporary horizontally partitioned layout.

The top compartment has room for an ATX/micro-ATX motherboard, with add-on cards up to 41.5 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 16.7 cm in height. The bottom compartment houses a PSU up to 19 cm in length, and three 3.5-inch drive bays (which each support 2.5-inch drives). Three additional 2.5-inch drive mounts are located behind the motherboard tray. Fan mounts include three 120 mm front intakes (which convert to 2x 140 mm), and a 140 mm rear exhaust. You can mount either a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator along the front-panel, or a 280 mm x 140 mm radiator there (besides smaller radiators). Front panel connectivity includes two each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and HDA jacks. The company didn't reveal pricing.

The UK based independent game publisher, The Irregular Corporation, is pleased to announce that RAIJINTEK, PC hardware manufacturer, have joined the PC Building Simulator project as a partner. At launch, players will have the option to build PCs in-game using RAIJINTEK's popular range of air and liquid coolers plus an assortment of cases, all, lovingly recreated using 3D graphics and fully functional within the simulation.

Raijintek have just release three new cases for their tempered glass series: the Coeus Elite, Coeus Evo, and Paen M. The Paean M is Raijintek's first watercooled open bench case. All three cases feature up to four individual panes of 4.0 mm tempered glass giving a great view to their new range of LED fans. At this year's Computex, Cooler Master showed off their hardware-quarantining PC cases in the MasterBox family. The first model we'll be bringing up is the MasterBox Q300T, which straddles the line between a PC case and art, with its angled surfaces and angled resting position. This is quite an interesting piece, and is meant to be integrated with your decor as much as with your gaming hardware.

Two of the more unique mass-market designs on show on Computex 2017 have to be the Phanteks EVOLV Shift and Shift X SFF cases. These are the essence of a tower case (though they can also lie on their side like a roman citizen at dinner time, if you are so inclined.) These are aluminum and tempered-glass crafted cases, with a ridiculous 17 (W) x 27 (D) x 48 (H) cm footprint on the Shift. The Shift X is the taller solution of the two, with a 65 cm height. These little cases than could support water cooling and component placement in multiple orientations, and include an integrated RGB controller to boot.

The front I/O contains just two USB 3.0 ports, but it's the interior which shines. Phanteks managed to cram a lot into such a compact form-factor. Motherboards will have to be of the mini-ITX type, there's no way around that; however, there's also with support for 2x PCI slots, and the Shift X brings support for 2x internal 3.5" and 2x 2.5" drives (you can also mount 2.5" solutions on the 3.5" bays, mind you.) It also supports PS2 PSUs, while the smaller Shift has to cut one of the 3.5" bays, and only supports SFF PSUs. However, for their sizes, both Shifts support 3x 120 mm and 3x 140 mm fans on the front of the case, and 1x 120 mm, 1x 140 mm fans on the bottom. The EVOLV Shift will retail for $110, while the Shift X brings that number up to $160.

Enermax Grace Fun and Grace Mesh are the company's latest ATX mid-tower cases with fairly conventional innards - a horizontally partitioned layout that frees up tons of room for graphics cards and CPU coolers; multiple 3.5-inch drive bays, and two 120 mm front intakes, three 120 mm top exhausts. This is where the similarities end.

The Grace Fun has a white steel front panel which feels like a refrigerator body to touch. You can stick fridge magnets onto this, or even stir up your creativity using headset-stands, etc., with strong enough magnets. The Grace Fun also comes with a tempered glass side panel. The Grace Mesh has a conventional steel mesh front panel with two 5.25-inch drive bays; and a steel side panel with an acrylic window. Both cases launch later this year.

Aerocool showed off the Quartz mid-tower and Quartz Pro full-tower cases at the 2017 Computex. The two feature a consistent design theme, with a large polygonal acrylic front window, tempered glass side panels, and factory-fitted RGB LED fans, with IR remote control for the lighting, color, and fan-speed. The Quartz features a fixed front window since it lacks an exposed 5.25-inch drive bay; while the Quartz Pro has a front door with the acrylic window, which opens up into the front intakes and an exposed 5.25-inch drive bay. As the larger case, the Quartz Pro has room for larger E-ATX motherboards, with more drive bays, and mounts for larger 140 mm fans (although the three 120 mm intakes are carried over from the Quartz).

At CES 2017, CES showcased a new case prototype, Project 217, which will come in two versions: the 217 and the 217S which, as you might have guessed, is a smaller version of the 217, sharing with it the same design language and product vision.
