Sharkoon expands its product range of midi towers and introduces two new case series at an attractive price. For lovers of minimalist design, the T3 case optically leans toward the popular T9 series. Gamers and fans of flashy cases will enjoy the VG5 series, particularly with its brawny front panel feature.

This week it's all about Computex 2015 - and all our fans know that Computex means new Nanoxia products: We revealed our first PC-case, the Deep Silence 1, during Computex 2012. The Deep Silence 4, Deep Silence 5 and Deep Silence 6 have been introduced during Computex 2013. Akasa made two stylish new additions to its slim mini-ITX case lineup, the Euler T, and Euler M. Built completely with chunky aluminium panels that double up as heatsinks for the CPU, capable of passive cooling CPUs with TDP of up to 35W, the Euler T is an evolution of the Euler S. It's a minor redesign that creates room for three 2.5-inch drive bays. Measuring 245 x 215.5 x 68.5 mm, it dry weighs in at 2.5 kg. The Euler M, on the other hand, is the largest in the series, yet. While the case can still only handle 35W CPUs, it comes with a slightly larger 80W power supply, and room for four 2.5-inch drives. It can seat regular thickness mini-ITX motherboards, with regular memory modules. Measuring 245 x 274.5 x 68.5 mm, it weighs 3 kg. Available starting a little later this month, both cases will sell for $250 a pop.

The Silencio series is coming to North America with the Silencio 652S ATX Mid Tower and the Silencio 352 MicroATX Mini Tower. Silencio 652S is an ATX mid-tower featuring a sleek design with tons of space. It can support 240mm radiators in both the top and front of the case, graphics cards up to 16.6" long, and up to 9 HDDs or 10 SSDs.

Silencio 352 is a microATX mini-tower with its own minimalist design. It's able to fit a 240mm radiator in the front as well as modern GPUs up to 14" long, keeping a beast contained inside its small shell.

Rosewill announced the RISE line of slim ATX full-tower cases. Available in two variants, the RISE, and RISE Glow (featuring illuminated fans), these cases are low on depth, and should be less stuffy to tuck away under your desk. They measure 233 mm x 440 mm x 550 mm (WxDxH), dry-weighing 14 kg, and are made mostly of SECC steel. The two achieve their relatively low depth by doing away with drive bays lining the front side, and instead positioning them along the bottom, thereby creating room for long graphics cards.

Storage features on the Rosewill RISE include two 5.25-inch drive bays (from which one converts to 3.5-inch external), and two 3.5-inch bays, which each convert to 2.5-inch. An additional 2.5-inch drive can be bolted to the top of this cage. Cooling system includes three 120 mm front intakes (blue illuminated fans on the RISE Glow), a 140 mm rear exhaust, two 140 mm top exhausts, and an additional 80 mm rear exhaust. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and HDA jacks.

Corsair showed off its colorful Graphite 380T line of portable mini-ITX cases. Featuring a picnic basket-like design, with a handle right on top, the 380T has a 2-compartment design. The top one is dedicated to the motherboard tray, with enormous room for tall tower-type CPU heatsinks, and long graphics cards. It wouldn't surprise us if a Radeon R9 295X fit in just fine. The bottom compartment holds its standard PSU bay, three 3.5-inch drive bays (which each convert to 2.5-inch), and two additional 2.5-inch bays. Ventilation consists of a prominent 140 mm front intake, a 120 mm rear exhaust, and a top exhaust.

Corsair, a designer and supplier of high-performance components to the PC hardware market, today announced the Carbide SeriesTM SPEC range of gaming PC cases in three models: the SPEC-01, SPEC-02, and SPEC-03. Characterized by aggressive styling, modern features, superior air cooling, and expandability, the SPEC range offers everything gamers need from a case and nothing they don't.

All three SPEC cases have been designed with PC gamers in mind, stripping out the unnecessary and leaving a lean and mean looking chassis that delivers great cooling and makes PC building quick and easy. Sharkoon expands its range of low-priced PC cases and introduces four new mini towers with the MA-A1000, MA-I1000, MA-M1000 and MA-W1000 for µATX mainboards. The cases are nearly identical and differ mainly in just the optics.

True to the motto "Save on space - not on possibilities!" the cases in the series provide, despite their compact size of 415 x 185 x 360 millimeters, space for up to eight hard drives/SSDs, which can be decoupled installed. In addition, graphics cards up to 340 millimeters in length as well as CPU coolers with a maximum height of 165 millimeters can be installed. The cases contain two 5.25" drive bays and a 3.5" drive bay. Pre-installed is also a Sharkoon BayExtension. Through this special installation frame up to four additional Solid State Disks can be attached. Two pre-installed fans, a 140 mm fan in the front and a 120 mm in the rear of the case ensure continuous air flow. Removable dust filters are located on the front and lower ventilation openings. In the versions without a window, an optional fan on the side panel can be installed.

Cooler Master, a leading creator, innovator and manufacturer of desktop components and more, today officially makes available to the world the first stackable computer case series, the HAF Stacker Series. Launching with three connectable and stackable models, HAF 915F, HAF 915R, and HAF 935.

Series Convergence
Joining together two titans among Cooler Master case series, HAF Stacker takes the essence of the widely popular High Air Flow and Stacker series and elevates them to new heights as a single, cohesive line. The large drive storage and interior space of the Stacker series meets the Water and Air cooling design of the HAF series. The result is the first modular and expandable full tower with smaller companion cases that all stack together seamlessly.

After their fairly recent endeavor in the case market, which debuted with two well received cases (by reviewers and the market as well), the Deep Silence 1 and Deep Silence 2, Nanoxia is now expending its PC Case lineup with three new products. The Deep Silence 4 is a micro tower case that can accommodate mATX and mITX motherboards, while the Deep Silence 5 is a full tower case that can house any consumer motherboard short of a monstrous HPTX one, that merit is reserved for the largest case in the series, the Deep Silence 6. The cases feature an integrated two channel fan controller as well extensive sound proofing that goes as far as bitumen lined panels and a foam insulated front door. They will be available in three color variants, white, full black and black with a gray front door.

BitFenix company has been known for specializing in releasing high quality computer cases at truly affordable prices. Today is premiere of a new model codenamed Shadow. The modding and custom water cooling scene has never been a particularly stable or reliable medium to build a business in and around of, with its intrinsically superfluous character making it a particularly risky bet for a start-up of any sort, and indeed a losing bet for very many of those who did bite the bullet, invested the money and delivered the goods, but failed to capitalize on what can best be described as a frivolous demand. A multitude of brands with a wide variety of products have come and gone, while some of those still on the scene are slowly fading into irrelevance, all of whom failed to correctly grasp the nature of that demand.

Thankfully, all is not gloom, this is a vibrant scene I'm talking about, with many household names that have been around for many many years, and some quite new ones also, doing very well and in some instances thriving. All of whom brought and bring to market products that not only meet existing demand, but primarily come to generate it. While generally a low volume market, the sheer variety of products is quite overwhelming, from completely over the top contraptions such as the Aqua Computer GIGANT radiators or the obscenely expensive, functional artwork boasting the Murderbox branding, to grotesquely designed and executed kitsch that will remain unnamed, in-between you'll find anything meeting every taste or budget. And from this busy, vibrant and idiosyncratic scene a new player by the name or Parvum Systems is looking to carve a piece for itself.

Shenzhen-based PC peripherals maker Jonsbo unveiled a trio of mini-ITX aluminum cases, the U1, U2, and U3, pictured in that order. Available in black, red, and silver brushed-aluminum trims, the three are some of the few mini-ITX cases with a side-panel acrylic window. The U1 is the smallest of the lot, with just enough room for a thick mini-ITX motherboard with up to 90 mm-tall CPU coolers to squeeze in, you get room for two 60~80 mm rear exhaust fans, and a couple of 3.5/2.5-inch drives. The U2, on the other hand, gives you room for two expansion slot bays, taller CPU coolers, and a 120 mm rear exhaust fan, in addition to room for up to four drives. The U3 is the largest of the lot, with room for standard ATX PSUs, width comparable to ATX towers, a 120 mm rear exhaust and the ability to stack several more drives using a drive tray.

Corsair, a worldwide designer of high-performance components to the PC hardware market, today announced two new mid-tower PC cases-the Carbide Series Air 540 and the Carbide Series 330R. Both cases incorporate innovative and unique features for superior cooling and quiet operation.

The Carbide Series Air 540 is designed with a wider form factor with two "side-by-side" chambers and a Direct Airflow Path layout. This unique design helps the case deliver best-in-class cooling at incredibly low noise levels. The main chamber of the Carbide Series Air 540 houses the motherboard and hot-swap 3.5" drives for superior drive cooling and quick swapping. The second chamber holds the power supply, SSDs, and 5.25" drives behind the motherboard tray. Cooler Master, an industry leading PC component manufacturer today announces the N200, N400 and N600, a new line of cases with a modernistic design that has the capacity for an internal 240mm radiator even for the smallest of the three, N200 (a mini-ITX/micro-ATX case). XtraFlow airflow.

N200, is the first mini-ITX/micro-ATX case that has internal space for 120mm or 240mm radiators in the front of the case or a 120mm radiator at the back. Thanks to an all mesh front panel, 2 high-quality Cooler Master XtraFlo fans and large air vents, it boasts excellent cooling performance. Despite its extremely compact size, the N200 supports 160mm tall CPU tower coolers, long high end VGAs, including the upcoming HD7990, four 2.5" SSDs and three of 3.5" HDDs.

XIGMATEK announced Assassin, a new line of E-ATX full-tower cases, consisting of black and white versions, with windowed and non-windowed variants. The Assassin features a edgy design chrome accents lining the 5.25-inch bay covers, that run the entire height of the front-panel. The cases are made of SECC steel, and ABS plastic, with acrylic windows on the applicable variants.

Measuring 210 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm (WxDxH), the Assassin tucks in enough room for E-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX, or mini-ITX motherboards. It features three 5.25-inch drive bays, and eight 3.5-inch ones arranged along a single massive drive cage; both drive bay types are tool-free. The case features eight expansion card bays, so you could install a dual-slot graphics card even in the bottommost slot of your motherboard. The motherboard tray features valved flaps for cable management.

Akasa unveiled pictures of two new fanless PC cases for 2013, the Galileo and the Newton (pictured in that order). Both cases are made almost completely of aluminum, double up as CPU heatsinks, and feature VESA-mount capabilities. The Galileo is a thin mini-ITX case which can passively cool CPUs with thermal output as high as 35W, while the Newton is designed for the NUC form-factor. Both cases will be showcased at Computex 2013, held in June.

In Win Development Inc., a leading innovator of high performance PC hardware and multiple winner of the internationally renowned red dot Design Award, has today launched its G7 mid-tower chassis. Available in aluminum gray and black with a discreet brushed metal look and meshed side panel as standard, the G7 is designed to be simple and beautiful on the outside, with leading features inside.

It supports full ATX and micro ATX motherboards, with up to 408mm graphics cards and extra-long PSUs. There is space for up to seven drive expansion slots; four of which feature In Win's EZ-Swap design and all are compatible with 2.5" SSDs. The additional, roof mounted EZ-Swap drive slot is openly accessible for quick data backup, without having to open the case.

Japanese premium PC case maker Abee launched the ACubic CP330 (mini-ITX) and ACubic CP730 (micro-ATX) lines of cubical aluminum cases with 2-tone frontss. The front panels are checkered to four squares with two mildly contrasting shades of black or silver. Variations include Black x Black, Black x Silver, and Silver x Silver.

Measuring 229 x 249 x 229 mm (WxDxH), and weighing about 3.4 kg, the CP330 features one each of 5.25-inch and 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays, a 120 mm front intake fan, and provision for a 92 mm rear exhaust. It features room for graphics cards as long as 200 mm, and CPU coolers as tall as 55 mm. The CP730, on the other hand, measures 269 x 318 x 249 mm, weighing 4.9 kg, features three 3.5/2.5-inch bays in addition to the 5.25-incher, and room for graphics cards as long as 270 mm, and CPU coolers as tall as 75 mm. It features the same fan loadout as its smaller sibling.

Japanese premium PC case maker Abee announced the ACE-G40 line of cubical micro-ATX cases. Made of aluminum alloy panels with SECC steel framework, these cases are designed with a perforated metal strip lining its front, which lets it draw air from a 120 mm fan. The ACE-G40 is available in two color options, silver (ACE-G40-S), and black (ACE-G40-BK). Its motherboard tray gives you enough room for CPU coolers as tall as 75 mm, and graphics cards as long as 270 mm. The ACE-G40 can hold a 5.25-inch drive, three 3.5-inch drives or up to six 2.5-inch ones. In addition to the 120 mm front-intake, the case has just enough room for a 92 mm rear exhaust. Measuring 269 x 318 x 249 mm (WxDxH), its dry-weight is 4.6 kg.

Aluminum case specialist Lian-Li's mini-ITX motherboard lineup for CES included the PC-Q27, PC-Q28, and PC-Q30 (pictured in that order). The PC-Q27, the smallest of the lot, measures 200 x 321 x 240 mm (WxHxD), and packs just enough room for two 3.5-inch drive bays that can hold 2.5-inch drives, in addition to a 5.25-inch bay. The lone cooling fan is a 120 mm front intake.

Moving on, the PC-Q28, which measures 225 x 305 x 345 mm, is a little more generous to the storage-conscious, with room for six 3.5-inch bays which each convert to 2.5-inch, in addition to a 5.25-inch bay. Ventilation includes a 120 mm front intake, and a 140 mm top exhaust. Lastly, there's the PC-Q30, in which Lian-Li's designers's took off on their usual fungal trip. It features a large front acrylic window, through which you get a God's-eye view of the motherboard tray, and whatever you have running on it. The Q30 measures 200 x 327 x 248 mm, lacks 5.25-inch bays, but features three 2.5-inch bays, and a 120 mm rear fan.

In Win unveiled the GT1 line of ATX mid-tower cases. Available in black (with a dash of red) and white (with a dash of black and red), the cases are characterized by a unique front-intake design, a large side-panel acrylic window, and nearly tool-free innards. The GT1 in general features three 5.25-inch drive bays, from which one is occupied by an optional high-current USB port accessory (which help charge your gadgets faster), and seven 3.5-inch bays, which can each fit 2.5-inch drives with some clever screw arrangement, that are spread into two detachable drive cages that create room for long add-on cards. Ventilation includes a couple of 120 mm front intakes, a 120 mm rear exhaust, and a 140 mm top exhaust. Expect the GT1 to hold a sub-$100 price-point.
