Cirrus7 Intros nimbini Chassis for Intel Broadwell NUC

Building on the success of its Nimbus NUC case with a stackable laser-cut aluminium sheet design, Cirrus7 introduced the nimbini, for Intel's latest Core "Broadwell" NUC system boards. The case features the same aluminium sheet stack design, and its thick aluminium sheets double up as heatsink for the CPU and PCH. It's available as both a case, or as a complete DIY kit with Windows or Ubuntu pre-installed. This kit, however, comes with over 90 parts, and you have to manually put it all together. As a case, the nimbini is game for Intel's 28W "Broadwell" Core M chips with Iris Graphics i7. Cirrus7 is expected to start pre-orders later this months, shipping begins in May.

In Win Launches 503 Mid-Tower PC Chassis

In Win Development Inc., a leading innovator in PC design and winner of internationally renowned design awards, has today announced availability of its new 503 mid-tower PC chassis. Available either in black and red with red LED fan, or white and black with white LED fan, with internal matt black coloring and an extra-large window, the 503 perfectly matches modern PC component aesthetics and lets PC DIY builders easily view their creations. The strong, high-quality SECC steel chassis has a unique tempered glass front cover that slides downwards, revealing a single 5.25-inch bay. CPU heatsinks up to 170mm are also supported with up to 27mm of space behind the motherboard tray for ease of cable tidying; both spaces are more capacious than direct competitors.

Akasa Announces Plato Chassis for Intel "Broadwell" NUC

Akasa announced Plato, a refreshing new design for an NUC case. Designed for Intel's Core "Broadwell" based NUC system boards, the case features a central chamber housing the NUC system board, which is flanked by sets of large aluminium fins on either sides, which form part of its passive CPU heatsink. Compatible with all "Broadwell" NUC boards, the Plato features a single 2.5-inch drive bay, which is thick enough for 9.5 mm drives, standard cutouts for the board, and front panel connectivity that includes two USB 3.0 ports, HD audio jacks, and a USB infrared receiver. The case features VESA wall-mount, and a Kensington lock slot. Measuring 247 mm x 200 mm x 38.5 mm (WxDxH), the case is made of brushed aluminium. The company didn't announce pricing or availability.

AeroCool Announces Aero-1000 Chassis

Lian Li Giving a Sneak Peak of the Latest Desk and O Series Chassis at CeBIT '15

Now, almost a year after their initial release, Lian Li will be debuting a desk chassis prototype, DK-Q2, that is a result of user feedback. Major updates include a removable motherboard tray, new leg design, and a slimmer body.

Phanteks Announces Enthoo EVOLV ITX Chassis

Phanteks introduce their first Mini ITX, a budget oriented chassis that uses metal exterior, to their EVOLV lineup in the Enthoo Series. The case has many useful features, such as a unique bracket solution for a radiator on top and a multi-functional mid plate bracket for a reservoir, pump, and SSD/HDD.

The Enthoo EVOLV ITX retains the minimalist design from the original EVOLV and features a metal exterior. The case measures at 9.1 x 14.8 x 15.6 inches and is equipped with 1x PH-F200SP fan, front I/O port, 1x SSD Bracket, and 2x 3.5" removable HDD bracket.

AeroCool Announces GT-RS ATX Cube Chassis

Aerocool Advanced Technologies, one of world's leading manufacturers of excellent gaming PC gear, announces a brand new cube chassis with ATX form factor support and compact dimensions. The GT-RS comes with a unique interior design where mainboard with the form factors ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ATX are mounted upside-down on the left side of the chassis. The mounting locations of hard drives and optical drives have been moved to a separate chamber, in order to achieve improved airflow.

Aerocool successfully combined a futuristic design with a unique interior layout. The GT-RS chassis has similar dimensions as the popular Aerocool DS Cube but uses the space differently, which allows mounting of ATX motherboards. Large VGA cards with a total length of 300 millimeters and CPU coolers with 121 millimeters height are supported as well. Antec Officially Announces P380 Flagship Chassis

Antec, Inc., California-based manufacturer of high-performance computer cases, power supplies and mobile accessories, announced today the availability of the P380, the latest addition to Antec's award-winning Performance One series. The new Quiet Computing flagship is now commercially available from 209 € (MSRP including VAT).

The P380 is a fusion of stylish design and a sophisticated cooling system, with the proven Quiet Computing features of Antec's Performance One series. Like all models in the series, the P380 is specially equipped to dampen system noise to the point that the computer is almost inaudible when the fans spin at a higher speed.

Phanteks Unveils Enthoo EVOLV ITX Chassis

Phanteks covered all its bases of its Enthoo EVOLV series, with one for the budding mini-ITX form-factor, the Enthoo EVOLV ITX. Retaining the design of its bigger siblings, this case seats a mini-ITX motherboard in a standard perpendicular tray, with two expansion slots.

Inside, it's partitioned into two halves, the bottom one holding the PSU tray and a few drive bays, while the upper one is almost exclusively a motherboard tray, with several clever fan-mounting features. For example, the case can hold three 120 mm fans on its top, and a tray holding those, slides out. There's no dearth of room, and you can install CPU coolers as tall, and graphics cards as long, as you would on a conventional ATX tower.

Lian Li Launches O Series Wall-Mountable Chassis

Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd, today launches the O Series open-air, wall-mountable chassis: PC-O5, PC-O5S, PC-O6S and PC-O7S. Previewed to the worldwide technology community in its prototype stage, the O Series chassis final design reflect the feedback of the DIY community, and feature oversized tempered glass windows, a PCI riser cards, and sleek aluminum construction.

The new O series includes four chassis: the mini-ITX PC-O5, the mini-ITX PC-O5S, the micro-ATX PC-O6S, and the ATX PC-O7S. These aluminum constructed cases all feature a similar design and aesthetic differing in their hardware compatibility. Through the oversized tempered glass window, onlookers can see the entire build unrestricted. Graphics cards are installed parallel to the motherboard, keeping the chassis slim, thanks to the included PCI riser card and extension. A black anodized aluminum shield covers the hard drive cage to keep a super clean look.

Cooltek Unveils UMX1 Plus Mini-ITX Chassis

Cooltek launched the UMX1 Plus premium mini-ITX chassis. Available in a standard and windowed (UMX1 Plus-Window) variant, the case comes in black and silver color options, with brushed aluminium panels decking it. The windowed variant features a tinted acrylic sheet entirely making up the side panel. The aluminium panels of this case are a healthy 2 mm thick, while its SGCC steel frame is 0.8 to 1 mm thick.

Internally, the case has a typical tower-type arrangement, but with a standard ATX PSU bay towards its front side. The case has room for a mini-ITX motherboard, a dual-slot graphics card up to 270 mm long, a CPU cooler up to 130 mm tall, and a PSU up to 160 mm long. Drive bays include one 3.5-inch, and two 2.5-inch. Ventilation is care of a 120 mm top exhaust, and an 80 mm rear exhaust, with passive intake vents at the bottom. Measuring 160 mm x 300 mm x 345 mm (WxDxH), the case dry-weighs about 3.2 kg. Cooltek didn't reveal pricing or availability information.
