Lian Li Announces New PC-Q13 Curved Chassis

Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd, today announces a new brushed aluminum Mini-ITX chassis ? PC-Q13. With its curve-shaped design and large acrylic front window the fully aluminum PC-Q13 allows users to show off their systems, and is sure to be the talking piece of any room. Whether in the living room, bedroom, or office, the PC-Q13 with its curve-shape and brushed aluminum finish takes visual command without being ostentatious. Additionally, DIY builders can put their stylized internal components and intricate builds on full display ? as they should not be hidden from sight.

Thanks to the two expansion slots on the top of the chassis, the PC-Q13 supports graphics cards up to 200mm (7.8"). For storage, up to four 2.5" hard drives or SSDs can be mounted in the removable hard drive cage at the bottom of the chassis. A 140mm fan in the rear of the chassis expels hot air, while ventilation on the top and side allows for cool air to enter. A small form factor power supply up to 125 mm (4.9") is placed on rubber pads in order to reduce vibrations.

SilverStone Raven RV04 Chassis Detailed

Here are some of the first pictures of SilverStone's upcoming flagship chassis, the Raven RV04. Its styling is clearly evolutionary to the Raven RV03, with no chrome highlights, and a more curvy, "concave" front. The biggest change is on the inside, while the RV03 features a 90° clockwise-tilted motherboard tray, the RV04 uses an upside-down BTX-esque motherboard tray. Perhaps the new trend of detachable drive-bays to make room for long graphics cards caught up with SilverStone. The case supports ATX, E-ATX, and SSI-CEB motherboard form-factors.

The Raven RV04 features two 5.25-inch drive bays, seven internal 3.5-inch ones, of which two feature back-planes to enable hot-swapping; and four 2.5-inch bays. It features room for CPU coolers as tall as 165 mm, PSUs as long as 180 mm, and add-on cards as long as 337 mm, and as tall as 170 mm. Its front-panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), and audio jacks. Ventilation includes two gargantuan 180 mm front intake fans (up to 1200 RPM, up to 34 dBA), and a 120 mm rear fan. Measuring 219mm (W) x 581mm (H) x 497mm (D), the RV04 weighs about 11 kg. It's largely made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. It's available in two variants, one with the opaque side-panel (SST-RV04B), and one with an acrylic window (SST-RV04B-W). Pricing and availability will be announced on May 11.

Corsair Obsidian 350D Premium Micro-ATX Chassis Launched

Corsair, a worldwide designer and supplier of high-performance components, today announced the Obsidian Series 350D High Performance Micro ATX PC case. Available with a solid or windowed side panel, the Obsidian Series 350D brings unprecedented expansion and cooling options to smaller, more portable, high-performance PCs.

Like larger cases in the premium Obsidian Series line, the Obsidian Series 350D sports a clean, black, brushed-aluminum styling. The case is also designed for fast and neat builds with tool-free access and drive installation as well as an innovative cable routing system. The Obsidian Series 350D case supports both Micro ATX and mini ITX motherboards and has plenty of interior space for liquid CPU cooling, dual 3.5" hard drives, dual 2.5" SSDs, dual 5.25" drives, and dual full-length graphics cards. It also has five expansion slots and five fan mounting points with room for two 240mm radiators. The front panel provides convenient access to USB 3.0 and audio connectors.

Lian Li Announces Two New Brushed Aluminum Mini-ITX Chassis: PC-Q27 and PC-Q28

Lian-Li Industrial Co., Ltd. today announces two new brushed aluminum Mini-ITX chassis: PC-Q27 and PC-Q28. These two compact cases feature Lian Li's new railing mount motherboard tray design, and allow for the Mini-ITX platform to be combined with traditional full-sized components.

In addition to the new motherboard tray, both of Lian Li's new Mini-ITX chassis have a new side panel removal design. After removing a single screw, the side panel easily slides off with minimal effort.

Corsair Obsidian 350D M-ATX Chassis Pictured

In addition to its latest flagship Obsidian 900D chassis, Corsair plans to launch a new premium micro-ATX gaming PC case this season, the Obsidian 350D (model: CC-9011029-WW). It posed for pictures at various retailers, and some of its press-shots were leaked to the web. Reportedly measuring 450 x 210 x 440 mm, the case will retain the solid matte steel construction with a brushed aluminium front, and a large side acrylic window. Its front-panel features two 5.25-inch drive bays, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, and HD audio jacks.

Internally, the Obsidian 350D doesn't feature any drive cages that can go on to obstruct long graphics cards. Instead, it features two 3.5-inch bays towards its bottom, and what appear to be three 2.5-inch bays towards the top portion, with a gap in between. Ventilation includes two 140 mm fan vents on the top, to which radiators can be latched on to (one 140 mm spinner included), and a rear 120 mm fan (included). The Obsidian 350D should be released some time towards late-April or early-May.

Corsair Teases Obsidian 900D High-End Chassis

"Understated Overkill," Corsair's words. The company teased its biggest, most feature-rich case to date, the Obsidian 900D. Armed with space for XL-ATX motherboards, with enough room for four triple-slot graphics cards, up to sixteen 3.5/2.5-inch internal, and four 5.25-inch drive bays, two PSUs (redundant/auxiliary power), room for water cooling nearly every hot component, and a modular design, which allows you to create room for more of any of those components, the 900D is shaping up to be an aluminum monstrosity among Corsair's ranks. The company is poised to announce this case later this month, in the meantime, it released pictures and a video presentation.

GIGABYTE Rolls Out Luxo K10 Case

GIGABYTE's newest PC case, the Luxo K10, is largely identical to its recently launched IF 400. The two have the same exact dimensions, inner chassis, the same panels, but differ with the front one. While the IF 400 features just two 5.25-inch bays, since it spends one on front-panel connectors, the Luxo K10 features four, with a completely perforated front. Its front-panel connectors are moved to the top, and consist of one USB 3.0 (type-A extension cable, not header), three USB 2.0 (standard headers), and HD audio. All other features, including ventilation, are identical to those of the IF 400. GIGABYTE did not give out pricing or availability information.

GIGABYTE Also Outs IF 400 Chassis

In addition to the C1007UN-D motherboard, GIGABYTE rolled out the IF 400 chassis for gaming PC builds. The ATX mid-tower measures 185 x 412 x 450 mm (WxDxH), and is made of 0.6 mm-thick SGCC steel and ABS. It gives you room for two 5.25-inch drives, both of which feature tool-free retention modules, and five 3.5/2.5-inch ones, of which two are tool-free. Ventilation is care of a 120 mm front intake, and a 120 mm rear exhaust, although there's provision for two 120 mm fans on the side-panel, and one on the bottom. GIGABYTE did not give out pricing information.

Taiwan based manufacturer Aerocool is hereby announcing the availability of the two new PC chassis Ferrum and Telum. Both chassis belong to the recently formed Templarius family . Fractal Design Readies the Define XL R2 PC Chassis

Next year Fractal Design will debut the Define XL R2, a new PC case promising to offer 'superb cooling and ventilation capabilities with exceptional expandability, in a sleek and stylish Scandinavian form'. Xigmatek Talon PC Chassis Announced and Up for Pre-Order

Xigmatek has now officially unveiled the Talon, a mid-sized PC chassis 'inspired by the latest in advanced aeronautical and automotive design concepts'. Part of the Stealth series, this new case measures 561 (L) x 553 (H) x 220 (W) mm, it offers support for ATX, micro ATX and mini ITX motherboards, and features a black coating both inside and out, a top-placed I/O panel (2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, HD audio ports), three external 5.25-inch bays, eight 3.5-inch internal drive trays (up to five 2.5-inch drives can also be installed), and two pre-installed fans - one 200 mm model in front, one 140 mm spinner at the rear.

The Talon is now listed with a price tag of €99.90 and is set to ship on January 14.

Cooler Master Also Rolls Out K380 Gaming Chassis

Cooler Master launched the K380 value gaming chassis, the first of many K-series cases which feature a hint of HAF DNA. The ATX mid-tower measures 209 x 479 x 445 mm (WxDxH), weighing about 4.7 kg, and is made of SECC steel and matte-black ABS plastic, in addition to its large acrylic side-panel window. Its storage area includes three 5.25-inch drive bays, two exposed and five discrete 3.5-inch bays, a 3.5-to-2x 2.5 adapter comes included. Ventilation includes a red LED-lit 120 mm front intake fan, a 120 mm rear exhaust, a 120 mm side-panel fan, and one each on the top and bottom. Its front-panel features a space to put your smartphone (it isn't a drive-dock), one each of USB 3.0 (by cable) and USB 2.0/1.1 ports (by header), and HD audio front-panel jacks. Expect this one to go for around $80.
