Cooler Master Announces Hyper 212X and TX3i CPU Coolers

Antec Announces Kuhler H2O H600 Pro and H1200 Pro Liquid CPU Coolers

Californian hardware manufacturer Antec introduces the liquid coolers Kühler H2O H600 PRO and H1200 PRO. These compact systems combine maximum efficiency, high performance and great build quality. The liquid coolers are the perfect choice for demanding gaming rigs that exceed the capabilities of conventional coolers.

To achieve the best results when used with overclocked processors, both Kühler H2O H600 PRO and H1200 PRO are equipped with a large copper base plate that efficiently transfers heat from any AMD or Intel processor to the radiator. AMD Demoes Quiet and Groovy New Reference CPU Cooler

AMD demonstrated a new reference air-based CPU cooling solution. Called the AMD Wraith, the cooler addresses the noise problem affecting AMD's stock CPU cooler, particularly on 95W-125W CPUs and APUs; and is more easy to deal with, than the company's liquid cooling solution. AMD Wraith could either be sold standalone, or as part of premium bundles with certain current or upcoming CPUs/APUs.

In its demo, the AMD Wraith is shown to be significantly quieter than AMD's stock cooling solution at maximum speed. Much like the stock cooler, the AMD Wraith is a top-flow aluminium fin-stack cooler, but with a larger heatsink, and a bigger fan. A groovy LED backlit AMD logo decks the black cooler shroud.

Small systems usually take Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX form factor motherboards, which has limited clearance for add-on devices. Example: Adding an advance cooler might restrict the RAM installation. Scythe Releases Fuma Twin-Tower CPU Cooler

Japanese cooling expert Scythe announces the availability of it's new Fuma Twin-Tower CPU-Cooler. The new model combines a compact Twin-Tower design with total height of mere 149 millimeters and impressive cooling performance. The compact tower-design allows the Scythe Fuma to easily fit into most on-market PC chassis, making it a great choice for both enthusiast and gaming systems. Scythe Engineers successfully created a compact but powerful Twin-Tower heatsink with a total height of 149 millimetres. DeepCool Intros GamerStorm Captain 240 White CPU Cooler

DeepCool announced a new white variant of its GamerStorm Captain 240 all-in-one liquid cooler. Replacing the original's red+black 2-tone scheme, the Captain 240 White features matte white on the pump+block the fans, and the insides of the fan frames. The rest of the cooler, including the interesting loop on the pump+block, comes in black. Red makes way for white with the LED "bionic" lighting inside the block. The rest of its specifications are the same. DeepCool didn't reveal pricing or availability.

Arctic announces the i32/A32 semi-passive coolers. The Freezer i32/A32 is the first semi passive Arctic cooler. The smaller and lighter successor of the Freezer i30/A30 is the perfect gadget for PC enthusiasts looking for an ultra-quiet but efficient solution for the CPU cooling. Scythe Announces Third Version of Grand Kama Cross CPU Cooler

Japanese cooling expert Scythe announcing the third version of it's "Grand Kama Cross" Top-Flow CPU cooler. New Scythe Grand Kama Cross 3 is based on the same extraordinary X-Structure concept as the predecessor, allowing especially efficient cooling of both the CPU and the surrounding components such as VGA cards, VRMs or RAM.

Scythe engineers redesigned the Grand Kama Cross 3 with the goal to significantly improve the overall performance. Instead of using regular 6-millimeter copper-heatpipes, Scythe has exchanged the two copper-heatpipes in the center against two with 8-millimeter diameter. Fine-tuning the manufacturing process allowed to further increase the efficiency of the heat transfer between the copper baseplate and the copper-heatpipes. Another difference to the predecessor is that both the copper baseplate and the four copper-heatpipes have been completely nickel-plated for the Grand Kama Cross 3. The engineers have re-designed the two aluminum-fins blocks and fitted the fins with a special saw tooth tread design. The new design has lowered both the operating noise at higher fan speed ranges and the air resistance, resulting in improved cooling performance.

CRYORIG Releases the M9i and M9a Ultra Compact Tower Coolers

PC thermal solution innovator CRYORIG releases the M9i and M9a, a compact tower cooling solution with three 6-mm heatpipes, True Copper Base and 92 mm 2,200 rpm PWM fan. The CRYORIG M9i/M9a is an entry-level tower heatsink that is both compact and affordable, but comes packing with material and tech comparable to CRYORIG's other ultra high end products.

Three 6-millimeter high performance copper heatpipes and a True Copper Base makes up the core of the M9i/M9a. Bucking the trend of removing the costly copper base in entry-level products, the M9i/M9a has all the same makings of CRYORIG's other more expensive products like the H5 Ultimate. The True Copper Base improves heat conduction and contact area for all the heatpipes. Together with CRYORIG's proprietary Jet Fin Acceleration System enabled aluminum fins, makes up for the high performance seen on such a small product. The M9 also safely avoids the RAM and PCI-E slots, completely avoids any RAM and PCI-E compatibility issues. With a total height of only 124,6 mm, it is also highly compatible with nearly all mid-tower ATX or Micro ATX systems.

ID-Cooling Intros FrostFlow 240L AIO CPU Cooler

ID-Cooling introduced the FrostFlow 240L all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. This cooler is designed to handle thermal loads of up to 200W, and is equipped with 27 mm-thick 240 mm x 120 mm radiator, with two pre-installed fans that spin between 800-2,000 RPM, pushing up to 84.5 CFM of air, each, with a noise output ranging between 20-38.2 dB, each. The pump spins at a constant 2,500 RPM, with a noise output of 25 dB, and has an MTBF rated at 50,000 hours. The pump-block unit puts up a "comet-tail" LED light-show, and features a copper micro-fin block. The cooler supports all modern CPU socket types, including LGA2011v3, LGA115x, AM#+, FM#+, etc.

Phononic solid-state CPU Cooler Gives Big Cooling Performance in a Small Package

Phononic, the company revolutionizing cooling and heating with SilverCore solid-state technology, introduces a new and innovative, high-performance solid-state CPU Cooler. The Phononic model HEX 1.0 is the first in a series of CPU coolers and is now available for pre-order via the company's Indiegogo campaign.

Unlike traditional heatsink/fan CPU coolers that continue to grow in size, the HEX 1.0 is built to meet today's high-performance computing needs in a much smaller form factor, which allows consumers to utilize enclosures ranging from mini-ITX to full size EATX towers. The Phononic CPU Cooler comes equipped with a dedicated control board that provides Variable Assist Cooling (VAC). Users can maximize thermal performance while minimizing the power and fan noise associated with increasing CPU load conditions. VAC combines a state-of-the-art Phononic heat pump with electronic control hardware and firmware that allows the CPU Cooler to respond to the changing load and ambient conditions.

DeepCool Intros the GamerStorm Lucifer K2 CPU Cooler

DeepCool introduced the second-generation of its GamerStorm Lucifer tower-type CPU cooler, the Lucifer K2. Designed as an alternative to entry-level AIO liquid cooling solutions, this cooler can either cool low-TDP chips fan-less, or massive HEDT chips with its included 120 mm PWM fan. Measuring 146.5 mm x 131.5 mm x 163 mm, the cooler weighs 1,047 g. It features an H-shaped (overall cubical) aluminium fin stack which extends vertically from its base.

The base is a milled copper block, from which six heat pipes project out, distributing heat through various points of the two lobes of the fin-stack. The included fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, has a speed range between 600 to 1,800 RPM, pushes up to 61.93 CFM of air, and has a noise output ranging between 18.2 to 32.4 dBA. The Lucifer K2 supports all modern CPU socket types, including LGA1151/1150/1155/1156, LGA2011/2011v3, LGA1366, AM3+/AM3, and FM2+/FM2. The company didn't announce pricing or availability.

Cool Both Your CPU and GPU with ID-Cooling Hunter Duet AIO Cooler

ID-COOLING officially releases the world's first integrated AIO water cooler for CPU & GPU with one radiator two pumps design, named HUNTER DUET. Along with this cooler, ID-COOLING is going to launch a full product line of water cooling under FROSTFLOW series.

HUNTER DUET is equipped with a 240 mm radiator mounted with a pair of SF-12025 high static pressure fans. Fan speed is PWM controlled from 800 to 2000RPM, pushing max. airflow of 84.5CFM each. On four corners are mounted with rubber dampeners to absorb operating vibration.

GELID Announces Polar 1U Low-profile CPU Cooler for Intel LGA115x

Thermal Solutions specialist GELID Solutions unveils the latest 1U low profile cooler for Intel CPU. The POLAR CPU cooler is a product of GELID Solutions SILENT product line. The POLAR is designed for HTPC, Panel PC, Car PC and 1U Server. Heatsink height of just 27 mm fits most slim low profile cases. The POLAR also has an improved heatsink fin configuration to achieve high cooling performance in a compact design. The cooler weighs only 127 g and especially conforms to lightweight Panel PC and Car PC applications.

A silent 75 mm frameless fan with the intelligent GELID PWM (Pulse Width Module) control was chosen to be integrated into the heat sink. The fan blades were optimized and with a fan speed of min. 1400 rpm it guarantees a high airflow. The intelligent GELID PWM control keeps the fan silent but accelerates the fan speed whenever additional cooling is needed. The multi-award winning high performance GC-2 thermal compound is already pre-applied on the heatsink. The POLAR is compatible to Intel Celeron, Pentium Dual-Core, Core i3 and Core i5 CPU with TDP 65W. The cooler fits multiple Intel CPU sockets such as LGA 1150, 1155 and 1156.

In addition to the MasterCase, Cooler Master unveiled its flagship CPU coolers, the MasterAir and the MasterLiquid, which as their names suggest, and air- and liquid-coolers, respectively. The MasterAir is styled a lot like the old V8 GTS, but is a single fin-stack, tower-type cooler, with two pre-installed 140 mm fans in push-pull configuration. The cooler integrates what CM calls a "3D vapor-chamber," which combines the benefits of a horizontal (plate making direct contact with CPU) and vertical (that which conducts heat through the fin-stack) vapor chambers. In addition, there are eight conventional copper heat pipes. The 140 mm fans glow with red or white LEDs. The MasterLiquid, on the other hand, is a DIY liquid cooling solution, with CPU blocks, reservoirs, tubing, coolants, fittings, and 2x 140 mm radiators branded by Cooler Master. The company showed off one such solution installed in a MasterCase exhibit.

Reeven Unveils a Trio of Low-profile CPU Coolers

Reeven showed off a trio of low-profile top-flow CPU coolers, some meant to simply replace your stock cooling, others to lower noise, and increase OC headroom. The lineup begins with the Steropes (RC-1206). This 60 mm tall cooler (including fan), features a large (120 x 120 mm size) aluminium fin-stack, which is just tall enough to stay above key motherboard components on a mini-ITX board, while still leaving room for standard height memory modules, and the PCI-Express slot. The cooler is ventilated by a 12 mm-thick 120 mm fan.

Next up, is the Brontes (RC-1001). This cooler is even shorter than the Steropes at just 59 mm, but has lower clearance below the fin-stack, and uses a 12 mm-thick 100 mm fan. The cooler itself measures 105 mm x 59 mm x 114 mm. Lastly, there's the Vanxie (RC-0801). This 33 mm tall cooler is just about the size of a reference Intel heatsink; and has almost no clearance below the fin-stack. It's ventilated by a 10.8 mm-thick 80 mm spinner; and measures 80 mm x 33 mm x 93 mm. All three coolers support Intel LGA115x and AMD AM1, AM3+, and FM2+ socket types (under 100W TDP).

Cooler Master Rekindles Maker Spirit, Launches "Make It Yours" Slogan

Cooler Master is launching a new slogan: "Make It Yours." The slogan kicks off a new drive to harness "the Maker Spirit" in Cooler Master's products and community.
"The maker spirit is that curiosity to know how and why things work, and the satisfaction that stems from taking ownership of something you make," said Roger Lin, Cooler Master's Chief Executive Officer. "People want unique products to express themselves, that's human nature."

As part of a drive to capture the maker spirit earlier this year, Cooler Master invited a team of renowned PC industry veterans, including Richard Surroz from the US, Peter Brands and Richard Kier of the Netherlands, Mathieu Heredia of France, and Ronnie Hara of Brazil (by way of Japan), to Taipei for a week-long workshop on the future of case technology.

Fractal Design Gives its Kelvin Line of AIO Liquid Coolers a Design Update

Fractal Design gave its Kelvin line of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers a design update. The 120 mm T12, 240 mm S24, and 360 mm S36, now come with newer Dynamic GP-12 PWM fans, which offer quieter operation and increased air-flow (500-2,000 RPM speed range); a 9V speed control adapter for the pump; an improved fill-port design, which can be opened with a coin, letting you replace or top-up the coolant; and new PH2 heads on the radiator screws, so you no longer need an Allen key to deal with them.

Be Quiet! Extends Dark Rock Family with Top Flow Model

Be Quiet!, the market leader in PC power supplies in Germany for nine consecutive years, extends its Dark Rock family with a powerful new model in Top Flow-format: the Dark Rock TF combines a sophisticated cooler design with the proven SilentWings technology to successfully cool demanding systems with compact form factors.

The new Dark Rock TF consists of two nickel-plated heat sinks that are interconnected by six performant heat pipes in 6-millimetre format. With this design, the Top Flow cooler can carry two SilentWings fans with a diameter of 135 millimetres and manages a TDP of up to 220 watts at a maximum of 26.7 decibels. Scythe Ninja 4 CPU Cooler Starts Selling

Japanese cooling expert Scythe announces the official successor of Ninja 3 Rev. B CPU Cooler. Ninja 4 comes with some major technical innovations, including the increased performance and reduction of overall weight by 180 grams. Wide range compatibility to the common sockets from AMD and Intel is assured, which is very typical for Scythe products.

Ninja 4 stays true to the core concept of the Ninja series, by keeping focus on passive and semi-passive cooling capabilities of the tower-cooler. To further underline this core concept, a new fan with additional features has been introduced. The GlideStream 120 PWM fan has been equipped with a special fan controller, allowing users to switch between three different fan speed ranges. Low mode has been tuned for extremely silent operation, where PWM control range varies from 300 to 800 RPM at virtually inaudible noise levels from 4,0 to 12,5 dBA. Medium mode suits most user purposes, as it covers a wider range from 300 to 1.150 RPM and offers the best performance to silence ratio.
