Alphacool Eisbaer LT Aurora AIO Now Available with NexXxoS HPE 360 Radiator

Alphacool's CPU All-in-One solutions Eisbaer Aurora and Eisbaer LT Aurora are now available with the new NexXxoS HPE (High Performance Edition) 360mm radiator. What does HPE mean? The NexXxos HPE-30 radiator uses the same materials as the previous NexXxos models, but technically goes a step further. Due to the condensed internal construction, the number of water channels and copper fins could be increased. This means that a larger volume of water is in direct contact with the cooling fins and the heat transfer is enormously improved.

Due to the higher number of fin rows and their shortening, the cooling surface is also used much more efficiently. Comparison tests (test setup: ASUS Prime X299/Intel i9-10900X with 350 W waste heat) with the conventional NexXxos radiator have shown that a significant performance increase of 4.5K is possible when using the HPE radiator. At higher ambient temperatures and higher fan speeds, the performance gap to the normal NexXxoS radiators even increases progressively and reaches a possible performance increase of up to 6K. There has never been such a leap in performance in the past!

Alphacool Announces Core XPX/Eisbaer Metal Backplate for CPU Coolers

Alphacool today presents the Core XPX/Eisbaer metal backplate for all CPU coolers of the XPX, Eisbaer Solo, Eisbaer Pro and Eisbaer LT model series (solo coolers and AIOs). The backplate is made of steel and is compatible with Intel's LGA 115X, 1200 and 1700 sockets. Due to the material composition of the backplate, the CPU cooler can be additionally stabilised and mounted on the socket with improved contact pressure. This leads to a considerable improvement in cooling performance compared to the previously used plastic backplates. The increase in cooling performance is most clearly measurable with Intel's socket LGA 1700. If you provide a proof of purchase for a CPU cooler of the XPX, Eisbaer Solo, Eisbaer Pro or Eisbaer LT model series (solo coolers and AIOs), Alphacool will send you a Core XPX/Eisbaer metal backplate free of charge!

Alphacool Unveils Eisbaer LT240 & LT360 Aurora AIO CPU Coolers with Digital RGB

With the Eisbaer LT240 & LT360 Aurora, Alphacool today presents new CPU "All-in-One" solutions based on the previously so successful Eisbaer LT series. Compared to the classic Alphacool Eisbaer LT AIO, the cooler and pump unit as well as the fans of the new Aurora version are now fully equipped with digital RGB LEDs. With the included controller, extensive lighting effects can be set, which provide unique and noble illumination.

As with all Eisbaer AIOs, Alphacool again uses the NexXxoS radiator with cooling fins, pre-chambers and cooling channels made of copper as well as the robust TPV hoses with quick-release couplings from the ENTERPRISE Solutions series. With the help of the quick couplings, it is possible to integrate other common water cooling products such as GPU coolers into the loop. The flat pump housing allows the AIO to be installed even in the smallest spaces. Alphacool's Eiszyklon Aurora LUX PRO is used as the fan, the DC-LT pump is replaced by Alphacool's quieter and more powerful DC-LT2 pump.

Alphacool Announces Eisbaer LT 92 SFF AIO CPU Cooler

The Eisbaer LT 92 is the little sister of the classic Eisbaer LT. It is without quick release fasteners and is delivered with only 25 cm long hoses. This ensures it fits perfectly into SFF cases. SFF stands for "Small Form Factor" and describes extremely compact housings. Despite its small dimensions, the 92 mm copper radiator offers enough cooling power for powerful processors. Alphacool uses hoses and fittings from the Enterprise Solution series for the Eisbaer LT 92. The TPV hoses are particularly robust and do not kink as easily as the usual PVC hoses. Bend protection is therefore not necessary. The Eisbaer LT 92 is compatible to all mainstream sockets, the appropriate mounting material for various Intel and AMD sockets is included, also a set of fan screws for 25 mm fans. Fans are not included with this unit and must be purchased separately. The Eisbaer LT 92 costs €73.09 (inc. VAT) from the Alphacool web shop.

Alphacool Introduces New NexXxoS ST25 Ultrathin Radiators

Alphacool today joins EKWB and XSPC (and Dazmode, before) in launching ultra thin sub-30 mm thick radiators for PC watercooling. Labeled the NexXxoS ST25, these are 25.5 mm thick and are the same radiators as those used in their Eisbaer LT CPU AIO coolers. These radiators are compatible with copper/brass/nickel loops, with copper fins and coolant channels, a steel housing, and brass threads on the two BSP G1/4" ports aboard the radiator. The core uses 15 FPI fins, which we speculate are the same fin geometry as with their other NexXxoS radiators with a louvered surface and ~25-30 µm in thickness. The NexXxoS ST25 is only available in 120 mm sizes for now, with prices ranging from 31.99€ for the ST25 120, to 39.47€ for the ST25 240, and 58.49€ for the ST25 360, with all prices inclusive of VAT.

Alphacool Introduces Eiswolf 2 Fullcover GPU AIO

[Editor's note: Our detailed review can be seen here. Alphacool also tells us that the Eiswolf 2 goes on sale from July 30.]

Alphacool presents the first full cover AIO water cooler for graphics cards. The Eiswolf 2 GPU AIO combines the advantage of a DIY water cooling with the simplicity of an expandable all-in-one water cooling. Key Features:- Alphacool Eisblock Aurora GPX DIY graphics card cooler. The core elements of every All-In-On are the cooler, the radiator and of course the pump. The new DC-LT 2 pump has been equipped with new control electronics compared to the previous model and is, among other things, much quieter in operation than its predecessor.

The radiator is a NexXxoS ST30 240 mm copper radiator, one of the most popular DIY radiators on the market. The Alphacool Aurora Lux Pro 120 mm fans are used as fans. They have comprehensive 5 V digital RGB lighting. These LEDs are also used in the graphics card cooler. The GPU block is a real Eisblock Aurora that Alphacool offers for DIY custom loops. The only difference is that the terminal has been replaced by the discreet pump unit. This means that Alphacool can offer all custom graphics card models that also receive a normal DIY water cooler as Eiswolf 2 coolers also. This means that you get an AIO unit that has no disadvantages in cooling performance compared to DIY water coolers.

Alphacool at CES: Eisbaer Aurora AIO, Eiswolf Aurora VGA AIO

German DIY liquid cooling major Alphacool brought two unique turnkey products to CES 2020, the updated Eisbaer Aurora AIO CPU cooler, and the Eiswolf AIO graphics card cooler. The Eisbaer Aurora is an original design by Alphacool, and bring a few feature additions with this generation. To begin with, Alphacool claims the pump is significantly quieter than the original Eisbaer. The casing of the new Eisbaer's pump-block now comes with ARGB (digital RGB) embellishments. If you look closely into the acrylic windows, you'll see illuminated polar bears around the pump housing.

The tubing and quick-release fittings have been updated to Alphacool's latest TPV series. Lastly, Alphacool has upgraded the included fans to the new Aurora Lux Pro fans that have ARGB lighting. The Eisbaer Aurora comes in four variants based on radiator size: 240 mm x 120 mm, 280 mm x 140 mm, 360 mm x 120 mm, and 420 mm x 140 mm. The biggest advantage Alphacool claims over other AIOs is the choice of materials: both the block and radiator are copper.

Alphacool Unveils the Eisbaer Refill Kit

Alphacool today unveiled the Eisbaer Refill Kit. The refill kit contains all of the important tools you need to fill your Eisbaer CPU water cooling system with a few simple steps. This includes a funnel with G1/4" thread, a high-quality thermal paste in a syringe, an adapter cable for the pump and an ATX jumper plug.

Remove the Eisbaer from your ensuring your power supply is turned off. Unplug the 24-pin ATX connector from the mainboard and fit the ATX jumper plug to it. Place the radiator on a table and the Eisbaer CPU/pump/Reservoir unit on a slightly elevated surface. Then simply mount the funnel on the fillport. With the SATA to 3-pin adapter cable you can now connect the pump of the Eisbaer to your power supply. Now slowly fill the Eisbaer with your liquid until the reservoir is full. Now you can switch on the power supply again. The ATX bridging plug starts the power supply unit and the pump of the Eisbaer starts to work. Alphacool Introduces Eisbaer Extreme AIO Liquid CPU Cooler

Alphacool presented their latest Eisbaer Extreme customizable AIO liquid CPU cooler at Computex. The protoype on display was a 280 mm model. Nevertheless, Alphacool will offer the Eisbaer Extreme in 240 mm and 360 mm variants as well. The CPU cooler employs a powerful D5-based pump and an expansion tank with a capacity of approximately 200 ml. There's also a small side window on the reservoir to keep track of the liquid level. Since the cooler utilizes standard G1/4" connections, users are free to swap the black tubing to their liking. The pair of quick-release couplings provides different options for expansion. Users can connect the Eisbaer Extreme to a graphics card waterblock, an external radiator, and many other Alphacool components.

The Eisbaer Extreme will initially be available with the Black Edition featuring a black Eisblock XPX CPU block, kink-proof hoses, and be quiet! Silent Wings 3 fans. A RGB edition will come later on. The RGB edition boasts a RGB illuminated side panel and CPU block from the XPX series. Alphacool Announces the Eisbaer LT AIO Family

With the Alphacool Eisbaer LT, you get a high-performance compact water cooling system that's barely inferior to its bigger brother, the Eisbaer AIO.
Just like the Eisbaer, the Eisbaer LT distinguishes itself from the usual AIO mix in that Alphacool relied on normal custom components as much as possible during development. This allows the Eisbaer LT to be expanded on not just with the Eisbaer Ready quick connectors but also with connectors using standard G1/4" threads. Another highlight is the new 25mm thin Slim Radiator, made entirely of copper. Since copper has twice the heat capacity of aluminium, optimal cooling is guaranteed.

The cooler bottom is made entirely of copper and has an ultra-fine cross slot structure. Thanks to those cross slots and a sophisticated nozzle system, heat is absorbed extremely fast and transferred away from the CPU. The built-in DC-LT Ultra Ceramic Low Noise pump is an extremely quiet pump that Alphacool has used in many products. The pump is much stronger than what you'd usually find in AIOs. It can also be throttled with the optional 7V adaptor, decreasing the already low noise generation even further. The pump casing is very flat and the aluminium cap gives it a clean, elegant look.

Alphacool Intros Eiswolf GPX-Pro ATI RX Vega and the NexXxoS GPX for RX Vega

ATI RX Vega cooler, Alphacool has the perfect cooling solutions for the start of the new AMD Vega graphics card generation. The NexXxoS GPX Vega Version now offers an improved backplate with a side shield to cover the PCB. This also improves its cooling performance, since heat is distributed more evenly over the front connection. If you use a graphics card with a NexXxoS GPX cooler and want to switch over to an AMD Vega, you'll be happy to hear about the corresponding upgrade kits for your cooler.

The Eiswolf GPX-Pro will still be an AIO solution, and will still come pre-filled with an integrated pump built around new "reverse flow" technology for whisper-quiet operation. The pure copper radiator from the well-known NexXxoS series with 120mm and a thickness of 45mm provides outstanding cooling performance.
