Software
The software is basic, but has all the important functions. The first page includes button remapping (mouse, keyboard, media, and macro functions) as well as the basic Windows pointer setting. Irritatingly, the "RGB switch" on top cannot be rebound. The second page houses CPI adjustment for up to four levels in a range from 200–10,000 CPI, and increments of 100 CPI. Past 5000 CPI, the granularity decreases, though. The third page provides macro options. Profile management is on board, too. On my system, the software had a RAM footprint of 12 MB on average.
Lighting
The A660 has no less than four lighting zones: the scroll wheel, back logo, side accents, and front "grill." None of these can be controlled independently. Two lighting effects are available: "Respiration" and "Neon." Additionally, only their transition speed is adjustable. Of course, disabling the lighting altogether is also possible.
Color accuracy and vibrancy are excellent throughout. Unlike on the Abkoncore A530 or A900, no flickering upon mouse movement can be observed. Here's a short demonstration video of the Neon and Respiration lighting effects:
