Aerocool P7-C1 Review

Packaging

The Aerocool P7-C1 ships in a black, fully colored cardboard box. On its front are a simply mention of "Project 7" and the tag line, while the back essentially teases the chassis alongside some text. Both sides are covered in information: one holds the same marketing paragraph in other languages, while the other has the specifications table.

There are two large foam spacers on the front and rear of the chassis. These are reinforced with cardboard sheets, and a plastic bag has been put over the case itself to protect it from scratches and fingerprints.

Contents

You will find the usual set of all-black screws and a pack of Velcro ties within the package. On top of that, Aerocool includes a potent 5-way PWM fan PCB. This allows you to connect up to five PWM fans to a single mainboard header, which is perfect if you want to fill the chassis with two radiators as that would result in that exact number of 120 mm fans. If you happen to use 3-pin headers, there is a button to switch between 100% or 60% RPM instead. Last but certainly not least is an RGB LED strip to extend the front's color setting and lighting into the interior of the chassis.
