Introduction

AQIRYS Logo

AQIRYS is a hardware and gaming equipment company based in Romania. Essentially, the T.G.A. Alpha is a somewhat differently shaped, slightly bigger and lighter T.G.A., with more accessories included in the box. The T.G.A. Alpha comes with four customization sets, in four different colors, each consisting of a main button piece, two solid back pieces with a different hump curvature, and two non-solid back pieces with a different hole structure and hump curvature, for a total of 20 pieces. On top of that, several sets of cables, grip tape, replacement feet, and button spacers are also included in the box. Unlike the original T.G.A., the T.G.A. Alpha has no holes on the sides, yet manages to weigh just 67 g with the default configuration, 9 g less than the T.G.A. The weight saving is mainly from the internal battery halving in capacity, yet the T.G.A. Alpha still manages to reach up to 44 hours of battery life without illumination. Other than that, the T.G.A. Alpha is no different from the T.G.A.: PixArt's PAW3370 sensor, Kailh GM 8.0 switches for the main buttons, pure PTFE feet, and full software customizability, including ARGB control.
