VRM Specifications
Power Design: Vcore: Doubled 6 Phase

Doublers:Intersil ISL6617A
CPU PWM:Intersil ISL69147 (X+Y = 7)
Power Stages: Vcore: Vishay SiC634 (50 Amp)
SOC: Vishay SiC634 (50 Amp)

The ASRock X570 Taichi features a 14 phase VRM in a (6 x 2) + (1 x 2) configuration. The basic components are largely identical to the recent Z390 Phantom Gaming 7, and nearly identical to the Z390 Phantom Gaming X. The PWM controller is a slight variation designed specifically around AMD hardware.

The Intersil ISL69147 PWM controller supports a maximum of seven phases in various configurations. In order to achieve 14 phases, ASRock used seven Intersil ISL6617A doublers located on the back of the board. In order to cram in more Vcore phases, ASRock opted for doublers for the SOC as well, exactly like on the Phantom Gaming X.

Unlike the Phantom Gaming 7, which has two different power stages for Vcore and SOC, the ASRock X570 Taichi uses the SiC634 from Vishay across the board.

The ASRock X570 Taichi has a maximum output of 600 A, and while we won't know for sure until the Ryzen 3950X launches, this should be more than sufficient even for LN2 overclocking.
