ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition Review

Shape

In terms of shape, the ROG Harpe Ace is very similar to the TUF M4 Wireless. The front and rear barely flare out, the sides don't curve inwards much, and the hump is centered, sloping down gradually to both ends. Geometrically, a notable difference lies in the main buttons and the position of the scroll. Both relatively to the M4 Wireless and other mice, the scroll wheel of the Harpe Ace is positioned more towards the rear, which has the area around the wheel raised slightly. Since the main buttons also feature comfort grooves now, the entire main button section sits comparatively slightly lower now, whereas the M4 Wireless had rounded, convex main buttons. Furthermore, the Harpe Ace has small ledges framing the main buttons, where one's fingers can be rested. As such, the Harpe Ace could be considered an evolution of the M4 Wireless design, and retains its non-offensive, agreeable geometry.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Harpe Ace is mainly suited for claw and fingertip grip, with palm grip at least being possible. It is a medium-sized mouse with a barely pronounced hump, which should make it suit medium to large hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Harpe Ace quite comfortable in claw grip.
