ASUS is a Taiwan-based computer hardware and electronics company founded in 1989. The ROG Strix Impact II receives a thorough makeover with the ROG Strix Impact III. Most notably, at 59 g, the Strix Impact III is 20 g lighter than its predecessor, and the shape has been altered significantly as well. Instead of a PixArt PAW3327, PixArt's PAW3311 sensor capable of 12,000 CPI is used, which is a lower-spec variant of the PAW3335. Of course, the ability to hot-swap the main button switches is retained, and ROG switches rated for 70 million clicks are installed by default now. Furthermore, instead of a stiffer rubber cable, a much more flexible, paracord-like braided cable is used on the Strix Impact III, along with pure PTFE feet. The RGB lighting zone at the front had to go, but the rest of the illumination is still present, and can be configured within Armoury Crate, which includes all the other usual options as well. Lastly, the ROG Strix Impact III supports NVIDIA Reflex.
