I would like to thank be quiet! for supplying the review sample.

The be quiet! Pure Base 500 managed to impress with its clean looks, quiet operation, and attractive price. Now, with the Pure Base 500DX, be quiet! is aiming to take that base (all the pun intended!) and tweak it to make it appealing to the gamer, or those who rather want balanced cooling and airflow over utter silence, with built-in ARGB elements and an updated IO. Clocking in at about $15 more than the original, it will be interesting to see if the chassis manages to sway the crowd in this much more crowded and competitive segment of the market.
