The Package
The KillerNIC M1 ships in a standard cardboard box, with a quite extensive bundle. Besides the card you get a couple of relatively new games and a full version of F.E.A.R.
On the side of the package you can read all about the technical specifications of the card and how it can help to boost the performance of your PC.
As I mentioned the KillerNIC M1 card comes with a decent game bundle. One of the best known games in this bundle is by far F.E.A.R which actually has a free online version that can be downloaded from the F.E.A.R home page. Besides the games Bigfoot Networks supply a good "User Manual". In which you can find a step-by-step walk-through of how to install and configure the card.
Installation
Installation of both the card and the driver went really smooth, all I did was shut down the PC and plug the card into an unused PCI slot. After doing this I booted my machine and installed the proper drivers and programs which I downloaded from the KillerNIC Website. Bigfoot Network's website also includes two FNA applications: FN Torrent and FNA Firewall. The cooling solution (Big K) only takes up one slot so installing it in a normal PC shouldn't pose a problem, however, if you have a card that has a heatsink plate on the back, clearance might be an issue.
