Packaging and Contents

The front of the Biostar Racing X470GTN box is black and has a gargantuan rainbow "R" emblazoned on it. The Biostar logo is in the top left, while the board designation is in the bottom right. AMD X470 is on the bottom left. Simple, colorful, and eye-catching, the box should stand out on store shelves. Flipping the box over reveals all the basic features and specifications on the back. A rear I/O diagram is presented in the bottom-right corner, and an overhead of the board sits to left of that. The top half of the box is a quartet of the standout features of the Biostar Racing X470GTN.

The packaging is compact, and the graphics are well printed. The rear is well laid out, and the front draws attention. Biostar has done an excellent job of packaging the Biostar Racing X470GTN.

Popping the lid open displays the Biostar Racing X470GTN in an antistatic bag, small even in the compact box that protects it. The inside of the box is simply black, and if it weren't for the antistatic bag, it could almost be a display. The included accessories are hidden under the cardboard tray the Biostar Racing X470GTN is resting in.

The included accessories for the Biostar Racing X470GTN are in some ways quite generous. Most boards only include two SATA cables these days, while the Biostar Racing X470GTN has four. That may not seem like a big difference, but the Biostar Racing X470GTN also only has four SATA ports. You can populate every one of these with just the included cables. The full list of accessories is below:
  • Manual and support DVD
  • 1x Rear I/O cover
  • 4x SATA 6 Gb/s cables
