A Closer Look - Inside
One can remove two panels to gain access to the interior. These are held in place by black screws but come off quite easy. As you can see, the interior of the chassis is also anodized black.
Upon first peeking into the case interior, it becomes apparent that the Coolcube is constructed in a much simpler fashion than the PC-Q03. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does explain the difference in price. The other simplified aspect of the case is its much simpler front I/O PCB. The USB 3.0 plug simply extends to the cable. That said, everything works perfectly fine and the cable length of each of these is refreshingly short, making the best possible use out of the internal space.
All the cables are sleeved black and come with the usual set of connectors, and each of them is clearly labeled. As the chassis does not come with a reset button, you won't have that dual-pin header.
