Installation

Installing the H150i Elite Capellix is a simple process. On Intel's 115x sockets, start by securing the backplate to the motherboard with the proper standoffs. In my situation, since I removed the thermal paste for photos, I had to apply some. If you don't have a favorite paste and plan to use what's already pre-applied on your cooler, you can skip this step.

With the prep work done you can now slide the pump block onto the the four standoffs and secure it with the included thumb screws. Once that is done, it's a simple process of mounting the radiator and fans with the proper screws and washers.

All that is left is to hook everything up to the Commander Core RGB/fan hub, which is then connected to a USB header on the motherboard.

I would rate the overall installation procedure on mainstream Intel platforms a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). The mounting process is a breeze, and the only issue some might run into depending on their case is where to stick the Commander Core RGB/fan hub.
