Packaging

The packaging of this new Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB Airflow variant has also changed considerably. The front simply holds a giant Corsair logo and mentions the model name, while the rear no longer has a blow up diagram of the case. On one side there is a simple table for specifications and a sticker to let you know which version you are getting, while the opposite is completely void of any extra details. All that is a bit weird, as Corsair technically could have reused the original box and just simply tweaked a few things.

Two thick Styrofoam spacers hold the full-tower case in place, and a plastic bag covers the chassis, protecting it from fingerprints and scratches during packing at the factory. As you can see by the tape of the cardboard, UPS dropped the package and haphazardly taped around the top of it. As such the Styrofoam popped off when it took the brunt of the force, doing its job in keeping the chassis safe and in one piece!

Contents

Corsair includes all black, sorted screws alongside some unique Velcro ties and a good number of sturdy zip ties. Corsair no longer includes the paper manual, so all you get is a bit of safety documentation.
