Shape

The shape of the Katar Pro Wireless is quite clearly a take on the popular "egg" shape. The egg shape is defined by being widest in the middle and getting thinner towards both the front and back. While this general criterion applies to the Katar Pro Wireless, there are some key differences. First, the base has almost the same width along its entire length, whereas the top is wider in the middle, but narrower towards the back and front. As a result, the sides are significantly slanted, even more than on the Logitech G305, for instance. Unlike on the G305, the sides don't bulge outwards, however. Additionally, the hump is very flat horizontally and more towards the back instead of centered. Overall, what we end up with is this silhouette: \__/. Personally, I had some trouble getting a secure grip on the Katar Pro Wireless. The slant on the sides is extreme to where the difference in width between the base and top ends up becoming uncomfortable.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Katar Pro Wireless is mostly suited for claw or fingertip grip. The Katar Pro Wireless is a small to medium-sized mouse and should thus fit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Katar Pro Wireless mostly comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Corsair Katar Pro Wireless and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
