Corsair is one of those companies that everyone knows about. As one of the premier enthusiast-focused PC companies on the planet, Corsair has a reputation pretty much second to none. What started so long ago with memory sticks and SSDs has grown into something that is truly impressive to behold; mice, keyboards, CPU coolers and fans, and all sorts of other PC accessories are now part of the Corsair line-up, which also includes several sister brands such as Origin and Elgato. I really do not think any other brand out there can match what Corsair offers, and with me today is just more evidence of that. That is because Corsair now makes laptops, and with me here now is Corsair's first laptop project, the Voyager a1600.

The Corsair Voyager a1600 is a thin and light laptop that has a few tricks up its sleeve, such as the 16:10 2560x1600 240 Hz monitor panel attached up top. Designed with gamers and content creators in mind, the Corsair Voyager a1600 includes AMD Advantage technologies that allows the Voyager a1600 to deliver true gaming performance. Here's what Corsair says:

"Featuring customizable center display, mappable S-key macro bar, biometric security power button, and Cherry MX mechanical gaming key switches with CORSAIR CAPPELLIX LED technology, Voyager is your command center for everything gaming, streaming and beyond."

I personally think we need more devices that are focused on both gaming and content creation, so immediately the Corsair Voyager A1600 caught my attention. Leveraging tech from Elgato, the Corsair Voyager a1600's ten easy-access S-keys allow you to change scenes, start programs, or do anything you can find in the Elgato actions store with simple drag and drop customizations. There's a 1080p FHD webcam and a quad mic array, with ambient noise cancellation. We've got Corsair Slipstream Wireless integration, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2. To prove the Voyager is made for creators, there's also a full-size SD slot so you can easily transfer data over from your high-end camera to be edited. Combining the latest 8-core AMD Ryzen 6000-series processor, AMD Radeon RX 6000-series graphics with integrated MUX switch, and exclusive AMD Smart Technologies, the Voyager a1600 blends all these for an impressively powerful laptop that leverages the best AMD has to offer.
