The Cougar Spike is being advertised as a compact gaming chassis. This holds true in the simplest sense as the chassis can easily swallow two large graphics cards and a potent PSU along with a fairly large CPU coolers. It, on top of that, looks cool and makes good use of materials, not feeling cheap on the outside. Then there is the fact that it sports a black interior. While this may be a given with most larger cases, it is not to be taken for granted in a case of this price point. Unfortunately, there are a lot of smaller details that may put people off, although most of them are not necessarily deal breakers on their own—from the cheap foam feet, break-out covers, and inadequate plastic locks to the lack of a motherboard tray opening and the single USB connectivity of each type. Just look at the price: 39.99 U.S. dollars excluding taxes or 35.99 euro including taxes. At this price point, basic functionality and looks are all most users care about, and the Cougar Spike delivers its features in a cooler package than any of its competition.
