A Closer Look

The radiator uses a clean boxy design with very little in the way of defining characteristics other than the Enermax branding on the side. While the aluminium radiator is thicker at 38 mm vs the more typical 27 mm, it has an FPI of 18-19 which means it does stick fairly close to the standard FPI (fins-per-inch) of 20-21, found on most AIOs. That said, the slight reduction in fin density should marginally improve airflow through the thick radiator.

The radiator fittings are simplistic in design, with the tubing entering into glossy black fittings. Lastly, the tubing is nylon-braided for an improved visual aesthetic, measuring in at a length of roughly 400 mm. It should also be noted that on the opposite end, users will find a fill port for easy maintenance.

The ARGB illuminated pump has a 60 mm fan built in for providing airflow to the motherboard's VRM, and to a lesser degree the system RAM. The top cover is held on with magnets and can be easily removed and rotated so its always in the proper position. As for pump fittings they are of the swivel variety and while the range of motion is adequate it's not quite as good compared to units with a wider spacing or offset fittings. Finally, the copper cold plate is slightly convex with only minimal machining marks being visible.

When it comes to the fans they have a rated max CFM of 58.03 and a PWM RPM range of 500 - 1800. Enermax is focusing on static pressure here rather than max airflow, with the fans having just five blades, more blades would crank up the CFM rating but considering the thickness of the radiator, performance would suffer. All things considered they likely made the right choice here. Overall the RPM range on the radiator fans along with the pump (1200-3000) and VRM fan (500-3000) is quite good, and gives users the ability to reach ultra low noise levels at idle.
