The Gigabyte X570S AERO G features a 14-phase VRM in an 12+2 configuration.
Gigabyte is using an Renesas RAA 229004 PWM controller to drive the X570S AERO G.
The Gigabyte X570S AERO G uses Vishay SIC649A power stages for both the Vcore and SoC. These power stages support a maximum of 60 A of continuous current each. Each power stage is teamed so that each pair shares a PWM signal.
The Gigabyte X570S AERO G has a maximum output of 840 A, with 720 A dedicated to Vcore.
