Glorious Model I Gaming Mouse Review

Shape

The Model I is a take on both the Logitech G502 and Razer Basilisk (V1, V2 and V3 are takes on the G502) shapes. As with other Glorious mice, the Model I lacks the sharp edges and more pointed design of the G502, which is a trait shared with the Basilisk. In terms of button design, it is closer to the Basilisk as well, lacking the additional buttons next to the left main buttons. As on both the G502 and Basilisk, the right main button sits much lower than the left one, but the left main button isn't as long as on the G502 even though both left and right still come across as elongated compared to other designs. The main buttons themselves feature minor comfort grooves, which too is something shared with the Basilisk, but not the G502. In general, while the overall curvature is similar to that of the G502 and Basilisk, the Model I is a more streamlined design. The right side barely has any curvature, and the left side isn't curved as aggressively either, with the lack of the wider butt being the most noticeable difference. Hexagonal holes for weight reduction are only present on the back and bottom. Overall, a familiar yet differently balanced design that works well in practice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Model I generally suits palm and claw grip the most. It is a medium-sized mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Model I quite comfortable in claw grip.
