The GMC H-80 is an excellent looking case, with a lot of details in the design and an obvious focus on more than just a fancy front panel. Starting with the choice of a gun metal grey paint, perfectly applied to the exterior and interior of the chassis, along with the inclusion of four fans and extruded side panels. This is what makes a case stand out from the competition and the H-80 does just that. A solid construction along with an excellent storage system for the simple but yet functional rails rounds up some of the main features of the chassis, but also underlines the focus on more than just the mainstream marketing features found in many other, similar priced cases on the market today. There are really only two downsides with the chassis, both of which can be solved if one is able to make a compromise of some sort. First off, the fact that you have to watch the dimensions of your CPU cooler. This is something many sleek cases have to fight with, but can be solved by sacrificing the 250 mm side fan in the process. Secondly the fact that you won't be be able to fit the newest high-end graphics cards like the HD 5970, without cannibalizing your hard drive bays in the process. For those not going all out on these components, the GMC H-80 is a great choice in many regards. It will be up to GMC if this case will draw in the crowd or only cautiously tempt the potential buyer, as it all comes down to the retail price - once it becomes available.
