The Lancool Metal Boned K6 is a great case - just as the K7 is. It comes with a lot of features, wich are usually found in much more expensive cases not too long ago. The front construction and design has been improved when compared to the K7 and the internal layout - while remaining very traditional - has a lot of very nice additions here and there. The separate hard drive trays, a simple metal bar to lock them in place, along with the two large clips for cable management make the Metal Boned K6 a pleasure to use during assembly.
With all the nice features and a price tag just under 90 €s, one may ask where the line between the Lian Li cases and the Lancool enclosures lies today. In fact, the PC-60F - an entry level Lian-Li case - sells for just 10 € more, features an all-aluminum construction, the same hard drive trays, a better placement for the PSU and holes in the mainboard tray under the CPU area. This means for the small bump in price, you can get a Lian-Li case with more features. This then begs the question, if the Lancool is not too expensive, or if Lian Li is not cannibalizing their potential the Lancool line-up has by pumping many of their unique features into the mainstream brand, which in turn leads to higher prices. Nonetheless, the Lancool Metal Boned K6 is a great case, which I would have liked to see maybe 10-15 € cheaper, just to keep the two brands clearly seperated. As it stands now, while the K6 is recommendable in every aspect, many may put down the extra money to get a Lian Li case.
