Before you ask yourself, why such a chassis would get a 9.0, hear me out. The Lian Li PC-T1 is the most unique chassis I have ever laid my eyes on - and I have reviewed hundreds of cases and closely inspected even more at shows like CES, CeBIT and Computex. You should be aware that the T1 is by no means a very useful testing station and the main reason we are graced with such a design is for the "can do" attitude of Lian Li. There has never before been a retail case with a spider shape like this or anything even remotely as cool looking - and the PC-T1 is not intended to be a big seller either. Those who buy this case, do so because of its shape, wanting something unique to use with their mini ITX platform, not to benchmark on it. This is also the reason why the PC-T1 gets such a high score. Instead of going the usual route of creating another small, compact enclosure for such a mainboard - which in itself would be a very nice as well, Lian Li just threw everything away, that we have come to know and expect from the form factor and created something truly unique and interesting. Sure they offer plenty of good "boxed in" mini ITX enclosures, but the PC-T1 takes the cake, even trumping the PC-888 from a design perspective and I think that such bravery and vision should be rewarded.
