New Vs. Old Models: ICON Series

The ICON series caters to users looking for a chair with a sturdy build and a sophisticated and sleek appearance that includes modern touches. It is wider than the EPIC models and nicely fits into every environment, being gaming or business-oriented. One important detail is that this chair can support users of up to 150 kg (330.69 lb).

The ICON chairs have a neutral design to which only a few improvements can be applied because there are only a few elements to tamper with. The main colors are black, cognac, and midnight blue. The rest of the color options available for purchase only apply to the stitching and pattern (depending on the preferred upholstery). Every upholstery has its price tag. As such, the PU vegan leather is €369.90, making it the most affordable option, while the Nappa deluxe leather edition is €999.90 and their most expensive chair. For the ICON with the new upholstery, the asking price is €419.90.


The stitching is flawless, but as mentioned, not all ICON chairs have the same stitching pattern.


My favorite color choice from among all the chairs I have reviewed thus far is the Cognac/Black version from among their real leather variants with an asking price of €579.90.


The new ICON with the vinyl/PU hybrid leather chair has no stitching patterns adorning the backrest or base of the seat, which leaves the soft matte upholstery as the only thing of interest.

The updated ICON with the new upholstery includes nearly the same changes as to the EPIC.


The stainless steel button on the armrests is in the same color as the metal bars which move them up/down. The grip for the tilt is also made from stainless steel, and fingerprint proof. The company name and logo are engraved into it. Ergonomic adjustments to this chair have become more easily implementable, and the cushioning appears to be slightly softer than on previous ICON models.


The price tag of the ICON with the vinyl/PU hybrid leather is €419.90, which is somewhere between the original ICON with the PU vegan upholstery and the ICON with real leather.
