Quake 4

Quake 4 showed us the same strange behavior as Doom 3. This time even high resolutions with no AF/AA enabled were faster on the 7900 GTX than the 7950 GX2.




Once again, as soon as AF and AA are turned on, the 7950 GX2 takes a large lead topping at around 35% at 1920x1200.

F.E.A.R.

Fear has a limited amount of available resolutions, with 1600x1200 being the highest. But even at low resolutions the 7950 GX2 manages to take a 6 frame lead, no matter what the resolution.


As soon as the AF and AA is turned up, both cards take an expected performance hit, but at 1600x1200 that hit is incredibly large, with a 49 frames drop with the 7900 GTX and a 46 frame drop on the 7950 GX2.
