Battery Life and Power Consumption

With the power cable removed, the Origin PC EON17-X actually has decent battery life for a laptop of these specifications. Since the NVIDIA GPU is in use at all times, battery life at normal desktop tasks is actually fairly high and limits the device's wire-free capabilities, but I don't think people buying a DTR laptop care about that, and those who want more could opt to get a replacement battery, I'm sure.


That's another feature about this laptop that stands out for me. Not only do you have huge options in which parts are in here, you also have a removable battery. It is the most likely thing to need replacement over time and just pops right out, no tools required. Very few laptops can claim the same these days. The downside is that it does take nearly four hours to charge the 97 Wh battery from 5% back to full capacity.
