A Closer Look
The two sticks in each package are closely matched to each other, either side of each stick a replica of the other.
Pictures really don't do these sticks any justice. The matte white finish on the heatspreader is perfect, making that pesky sticker all that much more annoying.
The sticker has some useful information, but there's not enough; primary four timings, please!
The snake-head logo in the middle of the stick looks black here in these pictures, but it's really a highly reflective silver with cut-outs for the eyes to glow. I really like the text on the top bar for the Viper logo; it is big and stands out, but doesn't take over the whole stick.
The heatspreader nearly goes edge-to-edge, stopping just shy of the clip notches. These sticks I have here are single-sided, but some little bits and bobs are found on both sides.
I didn't find much of interest on the ends of the stick's PCB, although markings showing the PCB to be 10 layers were present.
Other than that, it's all rather boring.
