QPKG Software Packages
QPKGs are software packages that can easily be installed on the TS-869L to further enrich its functionality. These packages are either developed by QNAP, or by the Linux open source community. In order for a QPKG to be published in QNAP's official repository, it will first have to be verified to ensure it doesn't contain malicious code that could pose a threat to the data stored on the NAS. The installation and uninstallation process of such packages is a breeze.
Below, we will make a brief reference to most of the QPKGs currently listed as part of QNAP's relevant
list.

| XMail: an Internet and intranet mail server with many features. |
