Sharkoon Light² 200 Review

Shape

The dimensions table below already gives it away: The Sharkoon Light² 200 is a replica of the Zowie EC2 in terms of shape. The base is slightly shorter, the curves aren't identical, but for all intents and purposes, they're basically the same. It's a right-handed ergonomic shape with a raised left side, a centered hump that slopes down gradually towards both ends, a left side that is curved inwards, and a right side that is curved outwards. The main buttons have very minor comfort grooves. I still regard this shape as one of the best ergonomic mouse designs, so I can live with it not being original. Another thing to note is that the honeycomb pattern is present on the sides too. Personally, I wasn't irritated by this as the honeycombs themselves aren't shaped in an intrusive way, resulting in additional grip being provided instead.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Light² 200 can be used just fine in all three main grip styles—palm grip, claw grip, and fingertip grip. It's a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Light² 200 very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Sharkoon Light² 200 and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and the main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
