The following graph shows the NAS's overall performance in all tests we conducted using our custom-made software.



As you can see in the above graph, the NAS achieved close to 55 MB/s overall speed, which is high enough for our tests because our tests emulate real-life situations.

Let us now compare the performance of the N7710-G to that of other NAS devices.

























The N7710-G's USB 3.0 ports performed well with both the EXT4 and NTFS file system; however, its performance is no match for the QNAP TS-470 because QNAP's NAS nearly achieved speeds that are 20 MB/s higher in both cases.

The NAS performed pretty well overall; however, we expected even higher transfer speeds given its strong hardware. That said, the N7710-G will show its true potential in multi-client scenarios where the bandwidth of its teamed network cards is fully exploited.
