The Vantec ezSHARE Adapter does exactly what it's supposed to do and that is definitely a great thing. Simple, easy to use, and other than having to plug the cable into two different computers there's nothing else needed for setup. The one thing to have reservations about with a product like this is the actual transferring of files and how it is accomplished. The built in browser/explorer was an absolute pleasure to see with both computers laid out in front of you on the screen with simple drag and drop or cut and paste interface.
Sure, performance could be better, but the fact that the connection is direct with no need to save a file before transferring makes performance a second thought. The Vantec ezSHARE adapter comes highly recommended to anyone who needs to transfer files and with so many people with laptops for the road and one or more desktops at home this is an adapter for everyone.
