VicTsing's MM057 2.4 GHz wireless optical mouse might be very cheap, but is not necessarily very low-end. It's well-built, using materials of good quality, and generally feels solid and sturdy in the hands. The surface is grippy, and there's rubberization at the top and on the left side. The mouse is very small, though, so if you prefer a full palm grip and have averagely sized hands, the MM057 might be a no-go. For claw and fingertip grips, it is ideal for most. The mouse weighs about 71 grams without its battery—I'd definitely go for a lightweight, high-quality lithium battery with it. As for battery life, the mouse allegedly consumes extremely little power, so one AA battery should last a while, which the 8 minutes sleep timer helps with a lot.

Considering the price, these buttons are pretty impressive—I would say these easily surpasses many buttons on other gaming mice. With a good click-feel and nice actuation force, the buttons are generally crisp and tactile. There's a small amount of pre-travel on the main buttons, but not so much as to be disturbing. The switches are rated for 5 million clicks, which is fair for the buck, but don't expect a high lifespan from these. As for mouse feet, they are surprisingly good with rather low friction and a smooth glide, but make sure to remove the protective film first!

The MM057 has a PixArt PAW3212 optical sensor, and it's pretty good in terms of accuracy. It doesn't have any significant angle snapping, jitter, or sensor lens rattling, and you can set its resolution from 800–2,400 CPI. It's running on a polling rate of 250 Hz by default. The only things I could really nitpick on are the responsiveness and general latency. It's about 12–13 ms slower than your average wired rodent running at 1000 Hz, which is a lot—but again, $9.99 gets you this, and if you're looking for a wireless mouse on such budget, this won't be a deciding factor.

For any software or environment that needs fast and perfectly accurate tracking, I wouldn't advise going with this product. Otherwise, it's pretty impressive, especially considering its price tag. I would (and will) definitely use this mouse for controlling my PC from the couch, but it can also be great for some basic office work that doesn't require precision.
