The TLET TLD-M7A is a solid-state drive in the M.2 2280 form factor. It is only available in the 4 TB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the TLET TLD-M7A interfaces using a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the PS5018-E18-41 from Phison, a DRAM cache chip is available. TLET has installed 176-layer TLC NAND flash on the TLD-M7A, the flash chips are made by Micron. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are processed more quickly. Thanks to support for the fast PCI-Express 4.0 interface, performance is excellent. The TLD-M7A is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and 6,600 MB/s write.
The SSD's price at launch is unknown. The warranty length is set to three years, which is above average, but shorter than the five years offered by many other vendors. TLET guarantees an endurance rating of 3000 TBW, a good value.
