MSI shows off "upgradable" graphic card

The card actually has two GeForce 7 series GPUs on NVIDIAs portable MXM standard plugged into either side of the graphic card connected with SLI. Both sides are cooled by passive heat sinks and the card itself is just as big as a normal graphic card. The chip runs at 400MHz and the memory at 450MHz. No mention of which GeForce 7 it was equipped with, but considering its passively cooled my guess i a 7600 based one at most.

the MXM modules are PCIe based parts, which have the same size, mounting holes and such, no matter what GPU/memory configuration. That makes them interchangable -> upgradable notebook graphics.

So its the entire graphic card (see the green square under the heatsink): memory and GPU.

cheers
