Corsair Obsidian 350D M-ATX Chassis Pictured

In addition to its latest flagship Obsidian 900D chassis, Corsair plans to launch a new premium micro-ATX gaming PC case this season, the Obsidian 350D (model: CC-9011029-WW). It posed for pictures at various retailers, and some of its press-shots were leaked to the web. Reportedly measuring 450 x 210 x 440 mm, the case will retain the solid matte steel construction with a brushed aluminium front, and a large side acrylic window. Its front-panel features two 5.25-inch drive bays, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, and HD audio jacks.

Internally, the Obsidian 350D doesn't feature any drive cages that can go on to obstruct long graphics cards. Instead, it features two 3.5-inch bays towards its bottom, and what appear to be three 2.5-inch bays towards the top portion, with a gap in between. Ventilation includes two 140 mm fan vents on the top, to which radiators can be latched on to (one 140 mm spinner included), and a rear 120 mm fan (included). The Obsidian 350D should be released some time towards late-April or early-May.

I'm fond of the micro factor form. My next beast gaming rig will be one. This or the Fractal Design Arc Mini?

Two main questions for me before I'd consider building anything in this - is the non-window side panel solid, and does it come with blanks to block off top vents?

Here comes the long awaited Obsidian Mini Monster.

My next case. Unfortunately CaseLabs doesn't want to make XL-Windows for Merlin SM8, they told me. So I'll grab an Obsidian Mini. Hopefully it hits the market before GTA V.

I wonder if a Corsair H100-Cooler-Size will fit in somehow.

Look at the images. It looks to me like they have an H100i mounted in there.

Well, that's a surprise. I didn't think they'd be releasing any other case except for the 900D this half of the year. It looks very good, I'd even consider putting my old C2Q and 775 platform inside one.

On a related topic, I really wish they would give an update to the 650D.

Yes, great, you're right. Eventually I could upgrade to H100-Size. The big tubes belong to H100i. These tubes a way to clumsy compared to the elegant looking cooler in my view. Besides: Still Corsair did not manage there buggy system killing Link software, meanwhile since 18 month. So I would not buy an "i"-Product again.

I'm curious for more pics. And I hope there's enough room for cable management

What a sweet looking little case. Now if only you could run a double rad in the front.

I still prefer the Define Mini although I do like that the 350D has space to mount a 240/280 rad on the top. It's the only thing, in my opinion, that the Define Mini should also have.

Icing on the cake would be an included removable metal plate for the fan slots on top.
