GeForce 320.49 Beta Drivers Released
Today's driver release from NVIDIA, numbered 320.49 beta, comes in conjunction with the GeForce GTX 760 launch, adding support for the new card but also bringing a number of fixes for a series of issues reported with previews drivers. The release notes for the new drivers mention fixes addressing image corruption and artifacting for Eve Online: Retribution, Assassin's Creed III, Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The drivers also add (or update) SLI support for a wide series of other titles, among which we find Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Natural Selection 2, Trackmania 2: Canyon and GRID 2. I didnt see much if any difference performance wise over the 320.18's...
WHQL is suppose to be out next week, but I sure as hell hope that either they get more fixes in by then, or they wait a few more weeks for WHQL or else its going to be another bug ridden WHQL release.
The whole thing with the failure of the 320.18 drivers is that they rushed them out for the release of the GTX780, when they clearly weren't ready.
